[6.0' (1.8 m)] Well I left a review back in 2017 after I bought it. Im still quite happy with the Fixture. I recently tested the CRI using my Sekonic C-700, the results hovered around 94.0 to 95.0 depending on temperature. I would say Litepanels general claim of a High CRI rings true but the output is no where near a 575w HMI. There are cheaper lights on the market now like the Aputure Storm 300d II that do output the equivalent of the 575w HMI, however I have not tested the CRI as of yet.

[6.0' (1.8 m)] Easy to use. Allows greater flexibility for light shaping. Easy to get on and off. A big plus having these with our Astra kit.

[6.0' (1.8 m)] I travel quite a bit and I have tried out a variety of key lights over the years to not much success. 

But I've been using the Gemini 1x1 and a DoP 3' Octabank as of late and it's the best travel-friendly keylight combination I've ever used. That combination is so soft on faces and still packs plenty of a punch to balance and expose in heavy natural light scenarios.

I've taken this light on dozens of flights and it travels extremely well and works so great for documentary applications. You never know the space you're getting to until you arrive and this covers you in all areas. If you also find yourself in unpredictable locations more often than not, this light will be your best friend.

Any piece of gear is an investment not just financially but in yourself. This light has improved my quality of work and that alone was worth it. Probably need to pick up a second one soon!

[6.0' (1.8 m)] We ordered the product and it arrived on time. I have tested it and it is running well. I am not sure why the original ballasts went down but this replacement is working well.

[6.0' (1.8 m)] I'm a small owner operator, (5 ton truck) these lights are great, they are worth buying just for the set up break down time, much faster and easier to use than the arri s30, only had them a few weeks but so far so good no issues.
Great quality of light , and lite weight and plenty of output.
good value pretty much an arri s30 without the massive price tag.

[6.0' (1.8 m)] My gaffer and I love using this light. We find we’re always reaching for this when we need a good panel light with effects and great color because it’s so fast and easy to setup. It’s been a real game changer in how I light my sets. It’s great!

[6.0' (1.8 m)] I literally use this light on every shoot. There is never a scenario that this light cannot be useful! I think it is smaller and lighter than the equivalent Skypanel. The output is awesome, and having the option to battery power them is also a plus. I travel two of these in one pelican case on every flight for a job because of how great they are. One of the best purchases I have made for lighting. It's the swiss army knife of fixtures.

[6.0' (1.8 m)] I bought this Sola 4+ fresnel for use as a back light in a typical 3 point lighting scenario. It fits the bill quite well I think. I considered the ARRI L5 for this because it is bi-color, but my budget didn't quite allow for it, so the Sola 4+ was the next best option. The Sola 4+ is light enough to place on a boom without excessive counterweights and allows for easy rigging. The fixture is mostly plastic which gives it a bit of a cheap feel however. The barn doors have plastic hinges but the doors are aluminum. Considering the plastic makes it light weight, which is a huge bonus if you are travelling with this fixture, I think it is a reasonable trade off. The focus range allows fine tuning and quite a narrow spot. Fan is quite enough that most audio situations would not pick it up. The fixture has a small form factor but it packs a pretty good punch for its size. Because it is only daylight balanced, I purchased the 5 piece CTO pack which includes a opal frost diffusion. Not sure I will use the DMX function but it's nice to know it's there incase I do. Overall, I think this light is a pretty good value but it needs to be handled and packed carefully to avoid possible damage. I gave the Sola 4+ five stars because it met my expectations based on the advertising and published specs. Now Litepanels needs to make a bi-color version of this fresnel to truly perfect it!
