The E-Image GH06 Fluid Head for Smooth Camera Movementsupports cameras and accessories weighing up to 13 pounds. The GH06 head features an Easy Lock Baseplate system that combines the balance adjustment of a sliding baseplate with the ease of a quick-release system. It provides five counterbalance settings (plus a zero setting for no counterbalance) that help the fluid head support loads up to 13 pounds.

With three fluid drag grades plus a zero setting on both pan and tilt, you can adjust the fluid head to suit your shooting style or the needs of the shot. The head features a built-in 1/4"-20 accessory socket for available monitor support arms or other accessory items, and independent pan and tilt locks.

The Easy Lock baseplate provides the balance adjustment range associated with a sliding balance plate but combines the ease of a quick release, as you can pop the camera (on the Easy Lock plate) into the top of the fluid head without having to support the camera while lining up the plate with the head. Easy to pop in, it stays secure until you release it, and you maintain the sliding balance adjustments.

The Easy Lock camera plate features a guided sled with a retractable locating pin and supports both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera tie-down screws (included).

A: Although the Nikon p900 camera would mount and be supported by the GH06 Fluid Head, it is intended for use with larger cameras. A: Was the original kit the EK60AAM? If so, this, or any other 75mm ball fluid video head will work in the tripod leg's 75mm bowl.

A: Using objective data, the Sirui technically support more weight for a payload of 22lbs vs the E-Image GH06 Fluid Head, which supports a payload of 13lbs, however, the Sirui also weighs more than the E-Image at 7.1lbs weight, vs the E-Image at 4.4lbs. So if payload support is the most important feature, but the weight of the tripod head is negligible, the Sirui would be the better choice. If weight of the head itself is important for transportation, etc, the E-Image may be the better choice.

[+90° to -60°] Have purchased 2 already and planning to purchase 4 more for our church live streaming services. Using the Panasonic AJ-PX270 cameras and love the smoothness of the head presets. Position 3 and 4 are as smooth as butter. These presets are perfect when dealing with learning volunteers as once it is set, no one has to change the preset. Great job! 5

[6.2 lb] I've been using Manfrotto fluidheads for over a decade but needed something cheeper. This tripod is as good or better than my Manfrottos. A little heavier because of the large aluminumm build, so if you need to haul this over distances I would splurge on the carbon fiber one. Excellent fluid head with proper tension adjustments for tilt and pan (not found in cheeper models) though I wish there were more steps in the tension nob. my favorite quality is the single lock legs. No need ot fuss with a lock on each leg stage, just twist the single lock on each leg and it releases all the stages. 5

[Fluid Head] Very Smooth stand/head, and counter balance works great for heavy rigs. The more weight loaded, the better it performs. The ground spikes really digs in so utilize the rubber feet on carpet. Overall, a well built tripod kinda close to Benro which means this will not disappoint for the price. 5

[Yes] Had heard about this tripod for years from various sources. Always wanted to give it a go but never got around to it. Finally pulled the trigger and have had it a few weeks now. It is INCREDIBLE. The fluid head is the star attraction as it's a wonder. Buttery smooth, consistent, and a joy to pan and tilt with. But the carbon fiber legs were also a great surprise. Simple, easy, and lightweight. I've previously used Sachtler's amazing flowtech system. While I love the system it is a bit heavier than I'd like. I use a Sony fx6 with a ninja v and small hd monitors and it holds them all perfectly. Cannot stress how amazing this tripod has been for our productions. Highly recommended over the more expensive sachtler and more entry level manfrottos. 5

[Fluid Head] I was hoping for something comparable to a 504 for a lower price, but this is even better, in terms of overall quality and my needs. Solid, rigid, sticks with all metal everything, except the removable hard rubber feet. The single release for two stages takes a bit of getting used to but it’s much faster to adjust three knobs than six. The head is equally solid, smooth, well machined, and easy to balance. The bag is not quite as rugged as Manfrotto’s, but still looks very durable and the tripod is well protected. So far I’ve used it to shoot an indie action/drama with lots of exteriors as well as tight interiors and it’s served me well. 5
