The Da-Lite 24432 65x104 UTB Contour Fixed Frame Screen HD 1.1has an ultra-thin bezel and acid etched black aluminum frame for keeping the audience's focus on projected content. The HD Progressive 1.1 surface has a 1.1 gain and 170° viewing angle, with black backing to prevent bleed-through and retain brightness. Its low-profile flat-panel design allows it to sit 1.38" off the wall. The front lip of the bezel is .25" wide all around the viewing surface, which sits .13" off of the inner frame component.

The HD Progressive 1.1 surface is ideal for applications where projector brightness and screen size require an increase in gain. The seamless white surface offers true color reproduction and fidelity. The screen comes with reinforced black binding on all four sides. The surface wraps around the frame and attaches to it with metal grommets. The HD Progressive 1.1 surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and is flame-retardant and mildew-resistant. It is also GREENGUARD GOLD Certified.

Q: 1. Hi, will this convert my MF lenses to AF lenses? I understand the older Pentax SMC-F 1.7x will allow me to AF my manual lenses? Thanks for your time and advice!

A: No it does not. Only the older Pentax-F 1.7x does that. It was designed to work with Pentax-A manual focus lenses as a transition to auto-focus. No other TC I know of does that.

Q: 2. does this work with HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED WR Lens?

A: Yes! I've shot some tack-sharp daylight wild animal photos with the Pentax DA 55-300mm/1.4x Rear Converter combo. Note: Since you'll lose an f/stop with the teleconverter, the combo will work best for outdoor tele-zoom photography in favorable lighting conditions.

Q: 3. Is the focal length transmitted to the camera corrected? For example, if used with a 200mm, is the combination 200mm + 1.4x converter transmitting the info 'focal length = 280mm' to the camera? (Important for stabilization)

A: It does register if you use it with a Pentax lens. It shows 420mm with my DA*300mm F4 and 140mm with my Pentax 100mm WR. Not sure about the rest. Probably so if you you a fast lens. Dont know about non Pentax lenses.

Q: 4. How will this lens behave on a FF body like the K1?

A: The Pentax HD Pentax DA* 11-18mm f/2.8 ED DC AW Lens is designed for cropped sensor cameras only. The Pentax K-1 does have a cropped sensor mode so you could use this lens. You will only be using a small section of the sensor and will get a small file size.

Q: 6. Will this lens work on a Pentax 55-300 lens? Thanks. Steve

A: You may or may not be happy with the results. Bear in mind that teleconverters are designed to work properly with prime (fixed) fast lenses...f4 or faster. On zooms, even on fast zooms like 70-200f2.8, the results will not be that great. 55-300mm.... Probably not worth spending $$500 for a TC since the performance and quality will be marginal. I don't like it in my 70-200 f4 or f2.8

Q: 10. Has anyone tried this teleconverter with the K3ii and the Pentax 150-450mm zoom lens?

A: Yes, users say the teleconvertor will magnify any positive or negative issues with the lens. One reviewer says "I was still very impressed, based on my experience with my K1 plus DFA 150-450 mm". Knowing that this teleconvertor is made for crop sensor cameras, using the K3ii, the results will be even better.

[1.1] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen. The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation. Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero! The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture. A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch. 5

[170°] An elegant screen. Easy to put together and hang. I purchased the 110 inch which did not require both upper wall brackets and only had one bottom frame bracket with fillister screw (was supposed to have 2) which also was sufficient. Lots of complements. Would highly recommend this product. 5

[1.1] After correspondence with B&H on product lines and availability , I selected the cinema contour to marry up with the projector specifications that were needed. It also worked well with the acoustic demands of the in wall speakers hidden behind it . The result was spot on. Excellent price coupled with exceptional performance. B&H got the job done. Pro service for pro contractors. 5

[1.1] Assembly for very straight forward. Looks great on the wall. Really like the velour wrap around the frame. It does a very good job of rejecting light back onto the screen. Because of the size, (110 inch) I decided to put up a folding screen to cover it when not in use. 5

[1.1] Have this 8' 16x9 installed in the front of the church sanctuary replacing an 8' 4x3 with the standard wide bezel. The narrow 1/4 bezel looks great. Quality and attention to detail in this screen is impressive. It was simple to assemble and install. 5
