[Olympus BLN-1] I bought this for my old Olympus, works just fine.


No complaints at all.

[7.2 VDC] One of my batteries short-circuited while traveling. I chose this brand at the suggestion of the seller. I started using this product the next day. Its capacity is similar to the original accumulator, approx. the same amount of time and the same number of pictures can be taken with it. It might last a little less in its lifetime, but considering its price, I think it's a very good choice.

[0.175 lb] Same thing as original for a lot less $$. What more can I say?

[Lithium-Ion] Finally figured out how to check battery life without firing camera hundreds of times... put on video and let it run so I could compare to other batteries I have. Few weeks ago bought 2 Wasabi batteries that are rated highly, the Watsons run about 15% longer. Original Olympus batteries are few years old and charged and dis-charged hundreds of times and are relatively weak at this point. The Watsons fit properly and are priced right.

[7.2 VDC] I purchased a battery when I got a HLD_6 battery holder for my OLY M-5. I will admit that I had previous experience with Watson batteries. I have a Oly Stylus 1, which uses a different size battery. They worked great! I used the Stylus 1 camera on an African safari. I had 2 Watson's and a oem Oly battery. I never ran out of battery power. I will admit that I used a Hahanel battery charger I bought it in Europe many years ago I at that time used a Canon camera. The Oly OEM charger is to slow. Charging 4 batteries after a day takes too long. The Hahnel will charge USB, AA, AAA and 7-8 volt camera batteries not at the same time. This is the best travel charger I have used.

[Lithium-Ion] This battery serves well as an excellent back up for my Olympus EM-5. Great value for the price.

[5.35 x 3 x 1.1"] Seems to work well so far. No problems with first use, and it lasted about as long as I would expect.

[7.2 VDC] Working perfectly after 1+ year. I see no difference in performance between this battery and the genuine Olympus battery. But here's a tip: This battery seemed to fail on me at just over 1 year of light use. The contacts looked perfectly clean, so I hadn't thought to clean them. Finally I decided to clean them anyway, and the battery started working perfectly after that. So if you develop a problem with this battery giving you an error when attempting to charge it, do be sure to try cleaning the contacts.
