Q: 1. Does this work with a Sony @6000?

A: This item is generally meant to attach (screw or clamp)to a tripod or object in order to hold lighting, flashes and accessories. You can purchase a number of accessories for this item that will allow you to hold a multitude of additional objects. One such item is a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter that which should fit the standard 1/4 mount thread found on most cameras. In any case I found this item to be great buy and a fine addition to any camera bag!

Q: 2. The 504HD has a spot for an articulating arm to be attached. Is this one that will work?

A: Yes. There is a 3/8 thread that you can swap for the 1/4-20 thread that comes on it. This makes it fit the threads on the 504hd head.

Q: 9. the photo shows 1/4 -20 studs installed on both ends, plus a loose 3/8 -16 stud. But, the description says one 1/4 -20 stud and one 3/8 -16 stud. Which is correct?

A: The arm comes with two 1/4 fittings on it. The extra part is the 3/8 adapter, which you screw onto one end and attach to the tripod. I have the arm holding a 7 monitor and its works great. You tighten the clamp and it stays.

Q: 10. The description says it’s made of aluminum, but are there steel parts in the construction? I’m working with salt water and concerned about corrosion.

A: Yes there are steel parts on this

[Yes] Haven’t used it a ton yet. But compared it to the Teradek motor, and the Heden MV26 (paired with a It’s definiteky quieter and smaller - and about half the weight of the Teradek, which was already pretty light. I dig the ingenious rod clamp that adapts to either 15 or 19mm internally without the need for an adapter that you could lose. I am using it with my Chrosziel Magnum 200. Has no problem pulling stiffer cinema lenses. The only potential negative is that the cable that runs to the receiver is fixed. So while that reduces weight with the reduced connector, if the cable gets damaged, your motor is out of commission until the motor cable is repaired (taking the whole motor out of use). I intend on having a backup motor. Given that Chrosziels system is compatible with other brands of motors (unlike the Teradek), should be easy to find one to swap in.

[Friction Gear] I purchased the 203 version of this follow focus (one generation back) secondhand and immediately I noticed the modern design and solid quality. The thing that sets a professional follow focus apart from the lesser expensive versions is the machining tolerances. Chrosziel manufactures this unit with very low tolerances meaning there are no gaps or wiggle room where there shouldn't be. The gearing mechanism is smooth and performs as expected. The marking discs click into place with a satisfying snap. The knob handle is large enough to firmly grab onto but not overbearingly large. It has a slim profile and fits well into cases etc. Don't skimp on getting a cheap follow focus, it's an integral part of what makes a movie, focus!

[Single-Sided] It's an amazing follow focus. Haven't encountered a smoother action. It is expensive but worth it in the long run, having dealt with cheap to mid priced FF. This will last a lifetime.

[Yes] even though I thought that the pricing is a little on the expensive side I am pleasantly surprised with my new Chrosziel shoulder support for my FX6. I am able to mount the camera in three different positions, the shoulder pad is easy to adjust, comfy and easy to slide back and forth. looks like you can also add a rear rod support which I haven't purchased yet but will def get it
