This Single Male to Double Female 2.5mm Splitter Cable for Lightning Bug from MK Controls is made to work with the Lightning Bug Shutter Trigger, although it can be used in other situations where a single 2.5mm male to double 2.5mm female splitter cable is needed. Its main application with the Lightning Bug is to allow the use of two cameras with one Lightning Bug.

A: You would need to add a 9 volt battery to the MK Controls Lightning Bug Plus to power it. It will then slide onto the hot shoe of the Nikon Z9. You then need to plug the cable into the shutter release socket of the Z9. To use it on standard mode you need to hold the on/off button for 2 seconds. For fireworks mode you press and hold the on/off button and increase the sensitivity simultaneously for 2 seconds. [7.5 x 4 x 1"] Perfect solution to use a TV hooked to a PC as a message board in a senior center. Allows very quick changes to the powerpoint file of messages as opposed to unplugging the TV from the PC and switching to the monitor. 5

[0.12 lb] I should have purchased this a long time ago. It allows you to add various additions that require power in the form of a D-Tap. This is a simple one in and four out design, with a nice coiled cable. I especially like the coiled cable because it's compact. If needed, it can be stretched out, but for the most part, I don't need that function. I attached the four out port to the top of extension back on our FS7, with a bit of double sided foam tape. If it ever gets in the way for a particular job, it's easy to remove. But it's also an easy location to power up a wireless video transmitter, an extra monitor or a sun gun. (mind you, I haven't used a sun gun for some time!) Bottom line, it's a very solid product at a very good price. I would definitely purchase this item again. 5
