A: you can not use d810 L plate on 850, however, Kirk is going to introduce L plate with 2 piece construction, which requires little more time to fit and remove. If bottom plate is permanently fixed to camera then no problem., waiting for vello or Sunway should come up with affordable rates with single piece construction.

A: The Really Right Stuff Base Plate for Leica SL2 and SL2-S is compatible with the Leica SL2, Leica SL2-S, Leofoto VH-30LR, Leofoto VH-30R and Really Right Stuff BSL2-LC.

Q: 6. Will this plate fit correctly on a Nikon D-810?

A: The D810 is not identical in size to the D850, so the Really Right Stuff Base Plate for Nikon D850 would not fit perfectly on the D810,

A: The Gen X camera baseplate comes in to two packages to suite specific camera professionals requirements. Gen X Plate Camera Base Plate Package 1 contains one 15mm Rod Bracket Adaptor, while Genustech Gen X Plate Camera Base Plate Package 2 is available with the full set of two Rod Bracket Adaptors.

A: The cameras have the same frame dimensions, you should be ok.
