Op/tech Usa Sling Strap Adapter - Quick Adjust Black

Op/tech Usa Sling Strap Adapter - Quick Adjust Black
  • Product Code: eq175698
  • Availability: In Stock

$35.97 $43.88

The black Sling Strap Adapter - Quick Adjust from OP/TECH USA converts most Op/TECH USA straps into an over-the-shoulder sling. This system is fully adjustable from 23 to 36" using the "Quick-Adjust" feature. Cameras with a third connection point located on the grip use two Uni-Loops (included). All other cameras use only one Uni-Loop.

The two ends of the Uni-Loops thread through the strap lugs on your camera. The male and female connectors on the Uni-Loops then connect to the male/female connectors on the sling. Once the assembly is complete, your camera or binocular can slide up and down the sling to shooting or viewing position.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is width and length of pad?Specified for other Op/Tech straps

A: The pad is 2.5 inches wide. It is about 15 inches long

Q: 2. I worry about the solidity of using only one of the strap clips on my Fuji X-T2 with this strap for the unison loop -- is this method completely solid and dependable?

A: I purchased the Op Tech for my back-up Sony dslr camera body, my primary Sony dslr camera has a more robust Carry Speed strap. The less expensive Op Tech works fine for the limited use I'm using it for.

Q: 3. does it cause problems if the 2 items are different weights? I'd most likely be using it with an slr and attached 200mm lens on one side and small zeiss binoculars on the other.

A: I use a Nikon 850 with a Nikkor 300 lens and a Nikon 300S with a nikkor 55. I think you will be happy with this selection.

Q: 4. what size for a 5'9 man?

A: The smaller one. I'm 6'1'' and I use the smaller one at its tallest setting, so it'll work for you perfectly.

Q: 5. What is width and length of pad?Specified for other Op/Tech straps

A: Hello,Mine is 25.4 inches long free and strap is 2.36 inches wide on shoulder.Very confortable.Regards Paul

Q: 6. Will this strap affect the use of an L-bracket on the camera?

A: You can still use the E-Z Grip Strap when using an L-bracket; however, you wouldn't need the base plate that comes with the E-Z Grip Strap since the tripod mount area is being used to attach your L-bracket. Instead, you would need to be able to attach the 3/8" webbing of the E-Z Grip Strap to your L-Bracket. As long as you have an area on your L-bracket to attach this webbing, you should still be able to configure the E-Z Grip Strap to work with your set up. I hope that this is helpful. All the best!

Q: 7. telephoto support?

A: Yes this model could hold a telephoto lens. The maximum weight it can hold up to is 15 lbs (6.8kg).

Q: 8. Where is the 21.5-25" and 23-46" lengths for small and medium measured? Maybe superimposing on the model person with the strap will be clearer.

A: Being that the adjustments are made at the bottom of the straps where it meets the strap lugs on the camera, the measurement is most likely taken from that point up to the neoprene pads that rest on the shoulders.

Q: 9. would this work for a mirrorless, such as the Olympus OM-D E-M5?

A: I would not recommend it. The OM-D is too heavy for this strap (sling).

Q: 10. Are the straps adjustable? If so what is the shortest length? I am short, and often find that I cannot adjust the straps so that they are not banging against my legs and hips rather than waist level

A: Hey Elizabeth,There is a good bit of adjustment available for both straps. I shot football this season with this strap & it was ideal for a 2 camera setup & you could remove the secondary strap for use with one body.

[0.16 lb] The perfect strap. I love any modular system, gear often changes and so it is always nice to be able to adapt something like your sling. This sling makes my huge and heavy medium format cameras feel light all day long.

[Yes] I bought this together with a pro loop strap to carry my Pentax 645 while hiking. It handles the weight much better than the factory strap and positions the camera comfortably at my side.

[Nylon] This is simply engineered to make a rugged, lightweight design to securely haul my DSLR with battery grip and 400mm f5.6 lens around. I love OP/TECH gear because it interconnect with an entire system of OP/TECH connectors and straps, so you can mix and match your straps and connectors for your personal combination of camera bodies and lenses, or binoculars. I connect this adapter to my OP/TECH lens loops and my OP/TECH neoprene strap (the latter I also use as a neck strap for my binoculars when they are not attached to my OP/TECH binocular harness). I also know from past experience that OP/TECH gear is very durable -- definitely not to be confused with Optex.

[Black] I previously used a camera strap (Pacific Design Slide). While the PD strap is very high quality, I found the sling-style didn't work for me because I always have a backpack on my back when shooting. This strap-sling is excellent because You can put it on under a backpack and still get the sling action to work (because unlike the PD camera strap, the attachment point for the camera move up and down, not the strap itself). This OP/TECH USA strap doesn't look like it's made from high-quality materials at first I worried it wouldn't support the weight of my Canon R6 body + RF 24-105mm F4 lens (combined weight 1075 grams). But after a day or two of wearing it, the clips proved to be very sturdy, despite being made of plastic.

[Black] Already an OP/TECH USA Strap-Sling X-Long (#OPQAUSXLBLK) owner and prefer the sling design. This addition converted my complimentary Canon CPS Pro Strap into a sling. Now I can carry both cameras on slings if I like.

[Black] It is much more comfortable using over the shoulder and with several cameras I can change the configuration around using my wrist strap and other parts I have. The only thing I do not like are the short loops which get in the way a bit with my corner view finder on my a6000, so I swapped them to longer loops. That's the beauty of this system. One can configure it for different cameras.
