Trijicon 4x32 ACOG Riflescope Amber Crosshair OD Greenis a battle-proven weapon sight that is well-suited for use in the most challenging of conditions. The optical system offers a special optical design with zero image distortion and anti-reflection fully multi-coatings to maximize transmission and enhance image brightness and clarity. Also noteworthy is the battery-free tritium-illumination reticle, which employs a tritium phosphor lamp for low-light and night targeting. The reticle features four fine posts and a fine crosshair with markings for ballistic compensation.

The housing is engineered for exceptional performance: it is impact-resistant, fogproof, and waterproof with a submersion rating of 328'. It is forged from a single piece of durable and lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and coated with Type III hard anodizing finish. It also features an angled sunshade and mounts on a Picatinny-style rail via the included TA51 flattop mount.

          Related Questions and Answers

          Q: 1. would this filter fit on a Sony SEL1670Z 16-70mm f/4?

A: I agree with Nathan, the 65-89mm filter would be too big unless you wrapped something around the lens first. The Day Star 50mm sounds perfect for your lens. The B&H site is now showing the larger filter as discontinued at this time anyway.

Q: 2. What is the difference between this product and a Neutral Density 5.4 Solar Eclipse Filter besides the price?

A: The difference is safety and your vision! The solar filter is ISO 12312-2 Compliant. The neutral density filter is NOT. Read the ISO Warning on the product. ISO 12312-2 Compliant Warning: Viewing the Sun without proper protection can cause permanent eye damage, blindness, and equipment damage. Always use an approved ISO 12312-2 certified solar filter when observing the Sun through optics or cameras. Never use photographic neutral density filters for direct solar viewing, viewing the sun through an optic, or when using cameras with an optical viewfinder. Ensure the solar filter is ISO 12312-2 Compliant. And buy from a reputable source like B&H. Many of the answers to this question are inaccurate and dangerous. I have flagged those answers to B&H so hopefully those answers have already been removed. When you are looking at the sun either directly or through optics, get your answers from experts in the field.

Q: 3. I only have a viewfinder on my Nikon D3300. I assume I need to have my solar Glasses on as well as the camera solar filter?

A: Once the filter is secure you can look through the viewfinder. If you wear your glasses and have the filter you won't be able to see anything through it anyway.

Q: 4. What would be the best size for a Nikon 18-200 lens? The current screw-on filter is 72mm.

A: Measure diameter at end of lens with out a lenscap. See specs for this filter and see if it slides over your lens.

Q: 5. If using 67 mm lens which one is better to use 65-89, or 50-69?

A: My selection would be for the smaller, DayStar Filters 50mm White-Light Universal Lens Solar Filter (Single, 50-69mm OD) BH #DAULF50 • MFR #ULF50

Q: 6. Can I use this to take photos of the sun for practice of the upcoming solar eclipse?

A: Yes. The DayStar Filters 70mm White-Light Universal Lens Solar Filter can be used for solar photography with or without an eclipse.

Q: 7. What color does the sun appear - blue, yellow, red?

A: The sun's not yellow, it's chicken. - B. DylanActually it looks yellow through the eclipse filter. I've made some packing foam shims to hold it to the lens. It can be difficult to find the sun with your camera. I need a wide open f stop, and 1 or 2 seconds shutter.

Q: 8. Will this work on iPhone 12 Pro MAX?

A: No, the MeFOTO SideKick360 Smartphone Tripod Adapter will not work with the iPhone 12 Pro MAX.

Q: 9. Will I need this to take picture of the eclipse with my Sony A99?

A: Absolutely! All cameras risk (will sustain) light sensor damage when imaging the Sun without a proper filter with the exception of the 2 minutes or so of totality of a total eclipse. This only takes place in the ribbon of totality which during the upcoming Aug. 21st event will be only 70 miles or so wide and at very specific times per location.

Q: 10. Are these left over from 2017? That's the date on the product photo.

A: The DayStar Filters 70mm White-Light Universal Lens Solar Filter (Single, 65-89mm OD), that B&H offers are not left overs at all.

[8 mm] I own two ACOG Riflescopes and love them! They're made well and they have a company that stands behind their product.

[32 mm] Well built tough as nails rifle scope. Super accurate if you know how to use it. This is my 5th one and i plan to purchase more. B&H was super helpful as well.

[8 mm] I put over a 1,000 rounds with this scope in three days and couldn't ask for a more accurate scope. The clarity is great, the illumination works really well for my old eyes, and reticle is accurate for .300 BO. Even the wife and daughter were hitting bullseyes. The only thing I changed was the mount to a Midwest Industries QD mount. I'd buy it again and probably will.

[32 mm] This was my first purchase with B&H. The entire sales process was fantastic. I was looking for a very hard to find Trijicon ACOG with the Red Chevron M193 Reticle. The price was very competitive. The product shipped to me on time as promised. B&H followed with me during the whole process. I will definitely buy from B&H again. I would also purchase a Trijicon ACOG again. I am very Happy!

[8 mm] I recently purchased a Trijicon 4x32 ACOG, and I am thrilled. The clarity, and ease of use of this optic has quickly led to it becoming one of my favorite sights. Trijicon has certainly lived up to it's reputation,
and B&H sent me exactly what I ordered.

[8 mm] Received the optic earlier than the forecasted available date. BH delivered the item within 2 days and the product arrived with no issues. As for the ACOG and rmr combo, the ACOG has excellent glass and I truly enjoyed zeroing the red cross hair. (Downloaded The PDF manuals on trijicons website). The only part I disliked about the combo was the position of the RMR, because to zero the RMR on top of the ACOG I would have to change my sight alignment and lift my head up to see the RMR. Do to the current Unavailability of offset mounts, I was not able to purchase one prior to zeroing the ACOG. Regardless, the combo is great and once an offset mount is available, I will test and zero the RMR.
