BMPCC Ikan Power Kit with Dual Rod Clamp (D54 Battery Plate)provides a way to power your Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera using an available camcorder type battery. This item is well suited for use by operators who already own Panasonic D54 type batteries and wish to use them to power their Blackmagic Pocket Camera.

The unit slides onto and clamps to LWS 15mm rods, and it comes pre-built and ready to go out of the box, just insert your battery and connect the unit to your camera via the coiled cable that provides about three feet of extension.

A: I think the CRI is greater than 80 but must be less than 85. The LED panel is having a very serious green color casting and I have to buy some plus green and plus blue color gel to adjust it. However, after adjusting with the color gel, it lose about 1.5stop. Therrfore, if you are very serious with the CRI, I don't think this is a product suitable for you.

[0.8 lb] I had been working with a cold V-mount plate for a while (not using the pins at the bottom of the V-mount battery), and it became annoying to connect to and disconnect from the V-mount battery itself over and over again, not to mention having to ration a single D-tap port. This new battery plate gives me the ability to quickly swap V-mount batteries and power multiple devices at the same time, including devices that require USB. It's a real boon. 5

[19 mm Rod Mount] I got this to power my Atomos Ninja V with a D-Tap to DC barrel cable. I am using a dual NP-F to V-mount adapter plate into this unit and then out. It also provides another D-tap and a couple of DC outputs, so I will likely get an adapter to also run my camera from the dual NP-F batteries. Keep in mind this unit does have to be powered on, there are electronics inside and a small power button on one side. I thought something was faulty at first until I saw the button. 5

[0.8 lb] I really like this battery plate because of the folding arm. Its easy to position on the BMPCC 4k to where I can still use the monitor. Its various dtaps give you some options. When tightening down a lot it still moves some with a pull but feels secure. 5
