Q: 7. I purchased this lens for my Marshall compact broadcast camera and I am having a hard time focusing. I have it ZOOMED IN to around 70mm and no matter what I do with the FOCUS RING, it will not get into focus. It seems to *almost* get into focus, but the ring doesn't move far enough or something. Can someone please help me with this? Perhaps it's something easy that I'm overlooking. I should mention that if I zoom all the way to 80mm, I am able to focus no problem. But I need to zoom out a bit to around 70mm.. and when I zoom out to anything other than the full 80mm, it doesn't want to focus no matter what. Thank you.

A: This is a CS mount lens. Please verify that the camera you are connecting this to is a cs mount camera.

Q: 8. I have a TCSL 0618 5MP lense that I need to use a polarized lens on it. will the Tamron PL polarizer filter for CCTV CS/c mount work on it?

A: I believe the 0618 has a 30mm screw thread and the tamron filter is 25.5.

Q: 9. Does this really have no optical image stabilization?

A: Yes, the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary for Sony E-mount cameras does not have an optical stabilization system.

Q: 10. Does this filter work with Kowa LM16HC lens? I think the filter thread fir t that is M35.5x0.5

A: No this filter will not work on this lens. The lens has a 35.3x0.25 mm thread this filter is too small.

[Yes] I bought this lens for a simple one board camera. It is one of the few variable focal length lens that either isn't in the passes light or the nose bleed category. It is megapixel rated below my camera as are most of the replacement lens but Zoom doesn't care.

[Yes] It was very difficult to find a 1/1.8 sensor format lens with a focal length of about 4 mm. This lens is perfect for my Point grey camera with that sensor format.

[0.335 lb] Bought this lens for a new Axis M 1125 camera. My goal was to focus tight on a single object, 40 feet away, so depth of field was not an issue. The clarity of the image is excellent for a lens in this price range. If I had the option, a higher end camera with remote zoom and auto focus would be sweet...but for this budget priced combo, I'm delighted. Shout out to the BHP rep who guided me to put this order together. I explained my requirements & he took hs time to make sure all items of the total system were compatible. I'll order more CCTV cams here in future.

[Manual Focus] I service 5 airports and we purchased this lens to look 2,000 feet down one of our runways. I am not even using all of the zoom. It provides a good picture. I coupled it with the EverFocus EVEQ700 box camera.
