Q: 2. Are those arri-style connections on the arms? (I'm referring to what looks to be a threaded hole with 4 surrounding holes that appears to be for locating pins). If it's not this, then what connection type is this?

A: Those are Hirth tooth AKA Arri Rosette.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with the Manfrotto 035RL Super Clamp with standard stud?

A: Yes this clamp can fit a 5/8" stud normally included with the Manfrotto 035RL.

Q: 4. how do I release the cup from any surface? The surface is vertical and what I believe to be the release is underneath and I cant see it.

A: There is a rubber tab protruding from the side of the suction cup (same color/material as the cup itself). Place your thumb under it and push up; the suction will release.

A: That depends on how you set this up. This product is comprised of a few components that can be arranged in a few different ways (see the photos on the page for examples). It is designed to be very versatile allowing you to expand the gimbal making it larger and providing additional mounting points for additional gear or keeping it smaller while giving you an additional handle for more stability.

Q: 7. Is it safe to use the handles inverted yet the gimbal stays in the upright orientation? If so, does it matter then which handles goes on which side? Should I just rotate the arms to put the NATO handles on top. Or should I put the left arm in right side and the other on left side to keep the nato locking pin on top always?

A: The handles included in the DJI R Twist Grip Dual Handle for RS 2 & RSC 2 kit can be safely used on the top or the bottom rail of the extension arms. Also, the left extension arm can also be used alone to hold the gimbal underslung, in "briefcase" mode, for low-angle shots.

Q: 8. What does this dual handle grip weigh? It would be great to know the added weight to the gimbal.

A: Unfortunately, DJI does not publish that spec and we currently have no verification method, as this unit is out of stock as of this writing and is expected back in between one and two weeks.

Q: 9. How do you control focus with RSC 3 Pro?

A: There are a number of ways you can control focus with the DJI RS3 Pro. Using the front dial on the gimbal would be the most popular way to control focus since it is an included feature with the RS3 Pro Gimbal. Rotating the front dial allows you to control zoom or focus. It can also be customized to control the camera's shutter, aperture, ISO, or gimbal movements, making it exceptionally convenient for single-handed operation.

Q: 10. How do I attach a camera to it?

A: If it's a small camera like a DSLR you can screw a 5/8 standard pin to 1/4-20 into it. If it's a bigger camera you're going to want to get two more suctions to triangulate it and attach them to some sort of plate to mount on.
