The 1RU Gra-Vue VIO DELAY-XL-HD300s 3G/HD/SD-SDI Delay Unitfrom Gra-Vue VIO DELAY-XL-HD300s 3G/HD/SD-SDI Delay Unitis an audio & video signal-delay unit which provides a delay time of 300 seconds for HD-SDI signals, and 1380 seconds for SD-SDI signals. This delay unit also supports embedment and de-embedment of four analog audio channels, as well as analog / digital PGM audio and two-channel monitor audio output. A built-in web-server allows you to edit clips or configure the device from a WEB UI, and an optional internal digital audio (AES) module enables digital audio in/out.

Q: 1. does the zoom function work on the hdmi output of this monitor?

A: We're afraid not. The output is listed as a loop-through which will output only the signal you input to it.

Q: 2. Can the DC Out power an ATEM Mini Pro switcher? If so, what power coupler should I get?

A: No it can not. the ATEM Mini Pro requires 12VDC this monitor only provides 8. it does not send enough power for the ATEM Mini Pro.

Q: 3. Can you input HMDI and output HDMI and SDI at the same time?

A: the loop out will work from one input to another (Loop-Through HDMI and 3G-SDI Outputs) but it isn't possible to do both at the same time

Q: 4. Does it allow 4K 60?

A: No, the FeelWorld P7S 7" 2200 cd/m² Full HD 3G-SDI/4K HDMI On-Camera Aluminum Monitor can only support DCI 4K at 24p and UHD 4K at 30p, 29.97p, 25p and 23.98p.

Q: 5. Is it possible to use the loop out and multi view at the same time? My setup is that I will have 2 SDI inputs from my PTZOptics cams, loop those out to my BMD Mini Recorders, but I want to be able to monitor both of those feeds on the same screen. I'm also wondering what the output resolution of this device is? Is it dependent on the inputs? Right now I'm having an issue where my PTZOptics cams have to be set to 1080p30 as that's the max my BMD Mini Recorders will support. The cams can output HDMI and SDI simultaneously, so I thought I'd just plug the HDMI feed into one of my monitors, but my monitors apparently don't support 1080p30, they throw an error asking for 60Hz. Any feedback / suggestions is appreciated.

A: Hi Taylor, This is Jules from Product Support at Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor for your region. You can configure a DMON-4S to receive SDI on inputs 1 & 3 then use the ports for inputs 2 & 4 as loop outputs of inputs 1 & 3 respectively. Inputs 1 & 3 are still available to use in the multi-viewer, although obviously you then only have two inputs available for up to four windows, depending on how many windows you wish to show on screen. The four HDMI outputs can be individually controlled so each output can be configured to either be the output of the multi-viewer or a loop output of any of the SDI inputs. Q: 8. can this model TVLogic LVM-170A do split screen to monitor 2 set of camera?

Q: 9. Is the 2200 cd/m peak or sustained? And you mentioned in another answer it has image flip, does it have both horizontal and vertical flipping?

A: 2200 peak brightness. Yes it can flip both vertically and horizontally.

Q: 10. We are converting HDMI to SDI using a BMD micro converter so we can send a teleprompter PC output to our router. However, our teleprompters only have composite BNC. Can we use this to convert the SDI signal coming from our converter to composite BNC and send it to our router?

A: Yes, the Decimator 2 will be able to convert an SDI signal to composite BNC.

[2 x 275 W] Consider the monotron delay a dynamite toy for grown folks. It's function is not necessarily musical and I don't use it directly in my musical pursuits, but it provides an abstract function that feeds my music in the intangible. As a tool for meditation it is far out indeed. 5

[> 450 mV] The sound is very clear. No coloring. This is by far the best delay I've had and the others I've owned don't macth on any point... (Ibanez AD-9, Boss DD-7) It's a bit expensive but worth it. It's simple to use, very nice and offers a lot for the money. The sound is absolutely incredible. The USB port offers the capability of upgrading the presets and firmware. This pedal evolves so it doesn't get outdated. Eventide have a nive web support and pdf files and programs. You can organize the presets with a free application on their site. So many features - impossible to list. 5

[> 450 mV] After searching for weeks for the right delay I finally settled on the timefactor and could not be happier. I use it 2 ways, as the last effect on my pedalboard with stereo INS and stereo outs feeding two amps and from the send to the return of each of two amps. The timefactor works great in both uses. The ability to choose the mix of both dry and delay is great. The ability to use two seperate delay lines is like having two delay lines in one. I also like the three options for bypass type allowing you to use the peal as a buffer in your chain or going full true bypass. For the money this is one of the most versatile units available, and with the quality of eventide behind it, you cannot go wrong. 5

[2 x 275 W] The Korg Monotron Delay is a very immediate and fun sound design machine and processor. What's especially unique about it is that the filter comes after the delay. You can process incoming audio or the oscillator and control the tone of the repeats with the onboard filter, which is taken from the MS20 synth and is a personal favorite of mine. There is no resonance control to the filter but it's set at a very tasty level. This makes for a very creative sonic landscape. The internal oscillator is a saw waveform and can be modulated with either a triangle or a square LFO. Matched with the delay, this delivers some very spacey and interesting sounds. I would say the Monotron Delay is best suited for external processing and making samples. The ribbon controller doesn't offer any precise control and to get a precise pitch is pretty difficult. The ribbon controller offers continuous control of pitch, so sweeps are possible by running your finger up or down the ribbon. I used mine to make a sample library, incorporating the delay in my sound design as the layering of repeats with the filter and the modulation of the LFO makes for some pretty large sounds. I really like how fast the LFO goes. It goes into the audio range for analog-FM style tones. The real magic of this synth comes with the automation of the parameters, delivering hands on motion to otherwise static sounds. A vast array of sonic textures can VERY easily be coaxed out of this with little prior experience. The Monotron Delay delivers wild sonic textures that are at home in any electronic music track looking for something to give it some grimy analog grit. 5

[2 x 275 W] Timeless 3 has replaced my sound toys echo boy after so many years! Timeless 3 is very easy to use and sounds great! I was on the fence for a while as Echoboy is a very tough contender but it just doesnt have the features of this todays sound! give it a try ! 5
