The MVIO XC-4AUD 4 Analog Audio Embedded HD-SD Cross Converter from Gra-Vue upconverts or down converts one SD/HD-SDI signal to output two HD/SD-SDI signals and loop-through SD/HD-SDI signals. The module features an HD/SD self-adaptive input and can embed 4 analog audio channels into the outputs. This module can amplify and de-noise output signals and supports AFD (Active Format Description). The video connectors are BNC while the audio input connectors are 3-pin balanced. Its filter de-interlacing and graphic enhancing allow for high-quality video graphics. The module supports manual parameter adjustment with a dial switch on the board side.

A: No it is not compatible with the Canon Powershot Pro 1 camera.

A: This adapter is only compatible with the following UDMA cameras: Canon EOS 7D, EOS 1D Mark IV and EOS 1Ds Mark III (both of which have Eye-Fi capability already, so the adapter is not necessary), EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 20D, EOS 50D, Nikon D3X, Sony Alpha DSLR-A900, A850 and A350.

Q: 3. It says it only works with listed cameras. But in others it seems to imply it will work with others than listed. Does this work with other cameras if you do not use wifi cards? I have a XTi and will be getting a 40D and do not use wifi cards, nor do I wish to.

A: The Canon 40D and Rebel XTi both use Compact Flash II cards, so this DigiGear adapter would fit. Please keep in mind that it may not be functional with all cards.

Q: 4. if camera is having Two slots, one is CF and otherone is SD. so can I use SD cards in both the slots using this adapter in one CF slot?

A: Yes, I tried and it works.

Q: 5. This adopter work with Nikon D700

A: Nikon D700 has CF type I socket. This is CF type II adapter card. Please use Digigear Slim CF adapter NOTE: CF type II is thicker than CF type I

A: No it is not compatible with the 1Dx.

A: Unfortunately, there are no SD to CF adapters currently available that are compatible with Eye-Fi SD cards.

A: The DigiGear Extreme SD-HC-XC to CF Adapter is Windows 8 compatible.

[75 Ω] This device works very well for photography. I have a big collection of SD / SDHC cards that now I can use in my Canon 7D without any problem. Of course SDs are cheaper and available everywhere. It's easy to download my photos to my iPad or just using the SD slot in my PC, no need of CF card reader. 5

[>80 dB] Captured VHS TAPE with plenty of problems on the tape, composite video + audio IN to SDI OUT, in to Blackmagic capture card. over two hours of capture didn't drop a frame, kept perfect sync of Video and Audio. when there where video problems on the tape, the TBC freeze the video for that amount of time. Video thru the TBC, is exactly as the source, (unless you want to change it in the proc AMP). Very Nice control software installed on windows 10 the only problem is B&H Website and the phone assistant said that the power adaptor was not included. but it is.. I bought a separate power adaptor for no reason.. (now I have one spare..) 5

[60 W] Even though my Nikon D300 was not listed as compatible, based on another review saying that it would work I decided to try the adapter. The adapter fit without any issues - now I am able to use relatively inexpensive SD cards. I was unable to find the maximum card size in the Nikon D300 documentation, so I currently use a 32 GB card which functions as expected. 5

[60 W] I bought this to transition out of cf cards, as sony has gone to sd cards for all its dslrs now. It works great, but the only limitation is write speed. I have some ultra fast cards, and they slow down considerably when in this adapter. I knew that going into the purchase, and my style if shooting still works well with that, but on a camera like my sony a900 with big raw files, youd be best off to not try and shoot a wedding or action sports with this adaptor. Your buffer will fill up much quicker than card adaptor can write. Otherwise works perfect 5

[90 dB] This adapter is everything you expect and more. The quality is excellent, the speed is superb, and the price is unbeatable.I bought it to use it in combination with a 'Komputerbay 128GB SDXC Class-10 UHS-I 600x' SD card in my Canon 7D that only uses CF. I tested this combo against a 'Lexar Pro 32GB UDMA 600x' CF card and the result was the same, no difference; the 'DigiGear Extreme SDXC-to-CF adapter with the 'Komputerbay 128GB SDXC card was as fast as the original superfast CompactFlash card, 8fps (8 frames per seconds) of 18MP.I highly recommend the 'DigiGear Extreme SD-HC-XC to CF' adapter, it is specially designed for superfast DSLR cameras. 5
