[AXS] Love it! Been shooting for a few weeks now and it is Exceptional in all facets. 10 BIT GALORE and the slow mo is beautiful as well. The V-LOG is so easy to grade and the custom settings/ease of use with the camera are second to none! I do wish the LCD screen and the viewfinder were higher Nits but other than that its wonderful to work with. Thanks Lumix! Pany boy for Life!

[AXS] I have been using a blackmagic pocket 4k and wanted more of a run and gun set up. The GH6 is everything I was hoping it would be. Great image quality, light set up, quick and easy to use. If you're in the MFT ecosystem it's really a no brainer.

[0.3 lb] I think I was one of the first ones to order the GH6 from B&H (right at 5pm when it became available). I love this camera. I have 2 GH5S's and I wish I had 2 more GH6's instead. V-log L in the Gh5S was too noisy so I use HLG and get a beautiful, low noise image. But the GH6 in V-Log or HLG are a step above when exposed correctly. Very clean. I have shot in prores @ 5.7K and in H.265 @ 5.7K. The H.265 is a little hard on my desk top editing computer (10 core, water cooled i9). But Prores plays like butter. The only thing is with Prores @ 1.9G per secound, my Angelbird 512G CF Express card only has 34minutes but in H.265 it is over 5 hours. The 1.3G per second Prores records for 54 minutes. Big difference! I recommend the Angelbird 512GB AV PRO CFexpress 2.0 Type B SE memory card for $180.00. It will record all the speed hungry codecs. Most people give this camera a hard time because of auto-focus. I don't care about auto-focus. I have 3 Meike primes, 16mm, 25mm and 35mm and a DZO 20-70mm zoom. Also a Olympus Pro 12-100mm lens. It is my walk around photo lens although I some times use it for video too. The more I use the GH6 the more I love it. Maybe down the road I'll replace my GH5S's with Gh6's. I can always wish can't I.

[1] Incredibly well built. The cooling fan is superb. The new dual gain sensor over-performs for a Micro Four Thirds chip. The GH6 has almost every tool and setting that any video operator could ever dream of. This camera can shoot 5.9k video ALL day long without overheating. I literally tested this for 2 days straight. The EVF and LCD screens a clear and bright. No,...the autofocus is NOT as good as Canon or Sony...but...its starting to get OK. Its decent now at holding well on subjects but background pulsing is still there. Its not as bad as past Lumix cameras and its a definite improvement. To sum it up...this camera supprised the heck out of me. I was expecting to return it after testing it. However, I was wrong. It's a very impressive camera that won me over completely. It says in my collection.

[AXS] I have had the GH6 about two weeks and have shot video and photos with it. (I had the GH5 for four years before that). The GH6 produces outstanding video and still photos. I used to shoot video in 4K-30 and 4K-60 with the GH5, but the GH6 produces even better video at that resolution and frame rate. The GH6 also supports 5.7K up to 60fps. Even if you render your video and upload it at 4K, you'll use 5.7K for those times when you want to scale up and do other editing without the video becoming pixelated.


The GH6 (which is 25 megapixels) can shoot handheld stills up to 100 megapixels by combining eight images it takes very quickly. You will want to use this for special photos. I also have found the autofocus (for both video and stills) to be very good -- I know a lot of people criticized the GH5 AF, but I think the GH6 AF has improved. You should seriously consider getting the 12-60mm lens that can be ordered with the GH6. It is an excellent and affordable lens.


Finally, it is frustrating that Adobe Camera Raw doesn't work with the GH6 raw files yet, but YouTube shows a work-around that lets you change those photos to very large TIFF files, and you can then use Camera Raw as a filter in Photoshop before saving them as a PSD.
