A: The RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC3 RED Touch has an integrated cord that would need repair from RED if it becomes damaged. There are no options to add a cord.

Q: 2. Does it come with any way to power the monitor? If not do you know what AC power adapter or battery is needed?

A: Mine came with a battery plate for a Sony NP-970. There's also a DC socket. It has a battery monitor which is quite handy. I suggest having at least two batteries since they take some time to recharge.

Q: 3. Hello my question is I’m using Sony a7r3 right now still photos only, when I’m manually focusing , focus assist magnifies image, will this be the case with a monitor,will I be seeing everything I’m doing in camera on monitor screen?

A: This will all depend on the camera and its functionalities. This will work for photography with the A7RIII, however you will need to be in Live View Mode. From there whatever the camera is capable of outputting through HDMI is what this monitor will see.

[1280 x 1024] I ordered this filter for my monitor to make it easier for my eyes having to stare at the screen all day at work. As a bonus for me is the fact that it IS a privacy filter, so people can't just look over and see what I'm working on. Especially useful when I'm working with our credit card information or other sensitive items. If there is anything wrong with it, it's just that because it is for so large a screen, even when I'm looking at it straight on, the corners get a little blurred from the privacy filter aspect. 5

[60 Hz] Super easy to set up, easy to adjust for different sized cameras, and you can adjust the balance point so it isn't front heavy. Build quality is great, but the part that holds the glass is a bit plasticy. The screen takes HDMI and VGA connections to the computer, and the software that comes with it is great too. We've used it for a few different shoots and have had no problems loading & editing scripts or reading from it. I'd certainly recommend it, so much better than our old iPad prompter for studio work! 5

[31.5 to 80 kHz] These are used in a public facility where privacy/security is a concern. They work very well, obscuring the screens from a distance or angle. They fit Dell 19 inch monitors perfectly. The price is good in comparison to others I looked at but the quality is excellent. I have ordered 6 more. 5
