[4.06 lb] This is the best method for mounting small cameras

[7 lb (3.2 kg)] This little thing....is a beast. The rubber coating around the magnets REALLY help to prevent scratching on the interior of the car! So far the vibrations while moving isn't as bad as I thought it would be when it came to medium shots/50mm (but always depends on the camera if it's full frame or not. Also depends on how fast you are going and if it's a smooth road). Definitely on wide shots it came out pretty good. It was impressive for the price. I think the only thing I can see improvement on is maybe if the platform can be adjusted a little higher for certain camera screws to mount on the bottom.

[7 lb (3.2 kg)] Awesome for rigging on cars (except for hoods made of carbon fiber) or just rigging anything in general! Just make sure they NEVER come into contact on the magnet side unless you have something durable between them.

[4.06 lb] Very impressed with the strength of the magnet. Did not move for an entire week mounted sideways.

[7 lb (3.2 kg)] We utilize the RMH1 for multiple activities; it is used to mount our laser alignment tool on our high-speed printers, or to mount a camera on any machine to record and evaluate performance. Even with machine vibration, magnet holds great and the lock-down for the ball head keeps the laser pointer and camera very steady.

[7 lb (3.2 kg)] I needed to mount my Panasonic GH5 to police training vehicles for an upcoming recruitment video. I mounted this magnetized platform on the side and roof of a police ramming vehicle and captured some fantastic footage of one car bumper tapping another at speed to force the front car to spin out. This mount stayed firmly attached. It's an excellent product. Just make sure whatever you use to physically mount your camera to this plate is sturdy and strong. You won't regret this purchase.

[4.06 lb] I was hesitant to use a magnetic solution to mount to the bumper of my 4x4. But this is working great. I'm still a little nervous at times so I'm thinking of getting a safety strap of some kind.

[7 lb (3.2 kg)] I'm REALLY happy with this little mount, and impressed with the strength of the hold. The material that surrounds the base (and makes contact with the metal surface) is padded, so I never have to worry about it scratching anything.


Looking forward to more uses for it - it's opened up a whole new set of possibilities for camera angles now.

[7 lb (3.2 kg)] I don't usually write reviews. But, I'm so taken with this mount. It's simply fantastic. We use it for GH4 time-lapse and GoPro shots. It's simply the fastest way to mount to a moving vehicle, high up a lamp post in a busy square, or anywhere else you can find metal. Put a GH4 on the front end of a car and drive thru the center of London, it turns out amazing time-lapse videos. Run, don't walk, to get yours.
