Q: 1. Hi there , I have purchased the 116SCK3 and the instructions are ( as usual for manfrotto ) only pictographic. I want to know how to extend the spikes ... Do you remove the Rubber foot completely then retract the ball ? the picture seems to indicate you put the foot back on upside down , but I can get it to go on that way .. Or is it as simple as extending the spike with the foot in place ? I'm thinking its likely that the instructions cover two different types of foot ... (A) and ( B) ... Thanks in advance for the clarification

A: To reveal the full spike, simply pop off the suction cup, and twist the ball off.

Q: 2. Will it attach to wood?

A: No, this would not work as an attachment for wood.

Q: 3. Will these fit on a Manfrotto 058?

Q: 5. Will these work on ice? I have a MT055CXPRO3 that I take out in snow and ice conditions and am looking for something to keep it steady on ice

A: Yes, Manfrotto Suction Cups/Retractable Spike Feet (Set of 3) would be the best solution for stabilizing your Manfrotto MT055CXPRO3 Carbon Fiber Tripod. The suction cups will hold tied to the surface and the spike feet provide a steady connecion on the ice.

Q: 6. What is the maximum height the camera can sit at?

A: The Delkin Devices Fat Gecko Dual-Suction Camera Mount will have the camera 9" up from the surface.

Q: 7. Is this useable as a roof mount for a very lightweight 360 camera and a short 3-4' sturdy monopod stick? Updating some Google maps stuff in my area.

[4 lb (1.8 kg)] Replaced the original cups with these and they make my older bogen/manfrotto tripod much more steady. It just increases the surface area to grip to the ground because it conforms to the angle of the surface whether it is flat or not. The difference is huge. I do weddings videos and these will work great in all venues. One aspect that seems a bit worrisome is that these are flexible rubber material and the part between the pivot ball and the rubber cup can come off with slight pull. Many times I carry lighting stands and other tripods in a cart and I am sure these rubber cups will bump off at times. If manfrotto had made them in abs or metal and just added the rubber layer on the bottom would have worked better in my opinion. Over all, an excellent upgrade to my tripod and I am satisfied with its firmer grip.

[4 lb (1.8 kg)] I have the older Manfrotto 3021BN. I measured the diameter of the legs and bought the correct size of these feet. Wow, a great upgrade from the ancient round plug/covers that were on my tripod. Now the legs don't slide on the floor. So far I've only used these indoors.

[4 lb (1.8 kg)] My new Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod had plastic feet that kept slipping in wood and tile floors. After some research I found these replacement suction cup feet. They are not truly suction cups, but they are large, wide and add stability / traction on slippery surfaces. They also have retractable spikes.

[4 lb (1.8 kg)] Great for replacing the rubber feet that come with the tripod. It really stabilizes the tripod on most surfaces. They are a little bulky, but I knew this when I purchased them.

[4 lb (1.8 kg)] I use the feet on my Manfrotto Tripod for extra support and reduce movement! Things that I like about them is that they increase the contact area and support that the tripod rest on! Which help against camera shake!
