A: There is a flap of protective covering that lays over the area that is highest point on top of the camera where your flash connects when its not in use. The rest of the top of the camera is lower and not an impact area. It also has controls that I use frequently and a covering would get in the way.

A: I added a small black sewing button (bottom side up) to the shutter button with a bit of adhesive. This raised the shutter release enough to avoid missing shots and to aid AF by half-way pressing down the shutter release.

A: Probably not... The cover is really tight ... And I returned them because they were slick in my hand and I couldn't sustain a secure grip...

A: I am very happy with my purchase of an easyCover for my Canon 6DI have used this cover to protect the camera while i was shooting in the Daintree Rain Forest, where it is extremely humid and it rains most of the time. I also used it in Guam where the climate is similar .I have also used the cover while shooting outdoor sporting events when it was raining.
