This support plan is compatible with the VTrak Jx30, and all field-replaceable units (FRUs), such as complete drive modules (including tray, hard drive, and mux board if utilizing a SATA interface), drive trays (with Promise part numbers), mux boards (with Promise part numbers), RAID controllers, and I/O, power supply, and blower modules.

Service personnel will install the replacement part and retrieve the failed component.

A: This has up to 4K30 output over USB.

Q: 2. What is the read/write speed of this model running at RAID-0? I want to buy a working RAID running at RAID-0 and a backup RAID running at RAID-6.

A: Preconfigured in Raid 5 (w/Blackmagic speed test) I got 828 write and 834 read. Once in Raid 10 (and walked through by tech support leaving all settings, sector sizes etc. in default) the test revealed 589 write and 629 read. I read in one of the reviews here that someone got 1,200 overall in Raid 5! I've got the latest Mac Pro w/processor 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5, Memory 64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC, Thunderbolt 2... Don't know how they got that speed... Also, sorry I didn't answer your question about Raid 0 or Raid 6 speed. I saw people chiming in otherwise, and noticed at the moment this is the only speed related post here.

Q: 3. interchangeable with optional 110mm and 150mm cones ? please explain where can we get them ?

A: We no longer sell the cones on their own.

A: This product is made in Taiwan.

A: Promise currently has Windows 7, 8, and 10 drivers for the Pegasus2 R6.

Q: 6. Does the base (the end opposite of where the gimbal attacches) have female threads? Image shows a cylindrical inset, but can't tell if it is threaded.

A: Yes, the DigitalFoto Solution Limited Adjustable Extended Stick has a female 1/4" thread on the end of the base.

Q: 7. Can you power a camera from the D-tap if i want to put the V-mount on a cheese plate? I had a V-mount before that would not power the camera straight from the D-tap, so just want to make sure this isn't a common thing...

A: I doubt u can power the camera from the d tap. If im right it outputs only 5volts that may not be adequate for the camera. I may be wrong though.

Q: 8. In an event of a drive failure. What can I use as a replacement?

A: SCOTT - I don't know. I've had it for a few months now - works great, super fast, but no failures yet so I haven't had to deal with that issue. Mike

A: It is not designed to be used passively.

Q: 10. I just purchased this drive and am not able to configure on my mac. It is saying I only have 4tb of space to use so I am assuming it is in RAID 1 mode, but no way of knowing for sure. Does anyone have suggestions on how to configure properly?

[2-Year ] I haven't had to use the extended warranty or damage protection yet (knock on wood) but I feel confident having it. I was able to create an online Sony portal to refer back to my coverage and get relevant information. It was easy to set up and at a great price. 5

[2-Year ] The Sony Factory Extended Warranties are an excellent addition to any new VTR or camera purchase. There are no difficult third party hoops to jump through or requirements to satisfy. You simply register the item and the warranty online, and submit a copy of the receipt and warranty with the unit when it's sent in for factory service instead of submitting payment information. All other aspects of the factory repairs remain the same, except that the end user doesn't pay for them! I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone buying new Sony products. 5

[Extended] New lenses are expensive, and I don't want to shell out for an unexpected repair after the warranty expires, or worse yet, have to replace it because of an accidental drop or damage. That peace of mind is what makes this type of warranty worth it. I know that for three years I'm good. Expensive, but worth it. 5

[Extended] A sudden gust of wind blew over my tripod and sent my last camera, only 1 year old, crashing to the ground rendering it inoperable. Unfortunately it is too costly to fix nor do I have any insurance on it. It's not only the cost of the camera that I lost but also the investment in time getting to know my camera. In my opinion, it's well worth it to protect my investment. 5

[2-Year ] As my old Pentax cameras have lasted forever and are built like tanks I am not expecting to need this warranty but I purchased it because of the reasonable price and length of the warranty ($50 and for 2 years after the Pentax warranty ends). 5
