Q: 7. Why does the product description say "dynamic", when it is clearly a condenser mic?

A: The product description is accurate and the ATR2100x-USB is a dynamic microphone, not a condenser microphone. The microphone's element (also called a mic capsule) which converts audio to an electronic signal is dynamic and does not require any voltage to operate. Condenser microphones do require voltage to function. What may be confusing you is the built-in USB audio interface which converts the analog signal to a digital signal and does require 5V DC which is supplied by the computer's USB port. The ATR2100x-USB offers both analog output via XLR and digital output via USB, but the actual mic element used to initially convert audio to an electronic signal, that is dynamic. [5.3 oz / 150 g] I usually use a longer arm of the same design, and really like it. This arm provides utility in some diving situations because of it's shorter length. There are several nearly, if not exactly, identical arms out there, and this one is less costly, so I rate it even higher. This is not the same as some arms called loc-line arms, and the loc-line arms are not as strong as this one. This arm is easy to use with DIY trays. 5

[5.3 oz / 150 g] I was really satisfied with the quality of the adapter. Products from other manufacturers had bad reviews online in this price range. The ball heads donâ€t spin once tightened other magic arms in this price range spin after tightening which is really unstable if your mounting a 4K recorder. 5

[5.3 oz / 150 g] Excellent kit for in studio or outdoor work. Very flexible and versatile setup. The color pucks swap out pretty easily, with the exception of when removing them from each other in their original packaging. Did a product shoot for a football team of their helmet, used this kit as rear lighting with different color pucks. Easy set up and breakdown. 5

[0.3 lb] In the Westcott brand I have found quality in their strobes, first I bought the Fj 400 and I really liked its performance, so much so that I decided to purchase the Fj 200, both are excellent and easy to use, now I have an ally for my photographs. 5

[5.3 oz / 150 g] Hang them vertically or horizontally. Either way, they are great for adding more pars to your existing set up. They are not built to hold a moving head, even a small 10 or 25 watt one. They are however great for adding more pars to really make a wash of light cover the entire area! 5
