The black RS-EZ Series RS62-EZ 6.5" Coaxial Speaker Open-Ceiling Hanging Speaker from SoundTube Entertainment is designed for open-ceiling applications and features a 6.5" coaxial driver with BroadBeam Ring technology for consistently smooth high-frequency directivity. It incorporates a 4-position ceramic terminal block input connector and a 6-position tap switch with transformer bypass position. This speaker comes with hanging hardware that includes galvanized steel cables and a built-in hanging bracket for fast, easy, and secure installation. The unit may be mounted direct-to-conduit via the included screw-on locking cover plate (included).

The speaker enclosure is constructed of injection-molded ABS with glass fiber reinforcement for durability in indoor or outdoor applications. It also features an aluminum grille with protective powder-coated finish. The speaker offers an impedance of up to 16Ω for easy daisy chaining in low voltage systems. The ceramic input terminal accepts up to 10-gauge plenum-rated signal wire and includes a thermal fuse. The RS62-EZ speaker includes hanging cables and a built-in mounting plate for suspending it; a threaded opening on top of its cover plate allows for direct-to-conduit mounting. This speaker is suitable for use in voice alarm applications subject to EU EN60849 and BS5839-8 regulations. It is suitable for installation in retail, grocery stores, restaurants, hotels, casinos, museums, trade shows, and conference rooms.

A: You may experience wrinkling more towards the center of the background as opposed to the sides. Any wrinkles that may occur can easily be removed with a hand held steamer.

Q: 6. This product advertises a reversible Blue/Gray screen, I'm searching for a green screen, can I get the same result with either color?

A: No, only with the blue side. The grey is not for chroma key, just standard shooting.

Q: 7. Can this backdrop be used for shooting video?

A: This background can definitely be used for video applications.

Q: 8. Have the background open and mounted for about a month now. Not only are wrinkles still present but there are pockets here and there and they do show on video. Steaming from what I read here takes care of the wrinkles. What fix does the manufacturer suggest to get rid of the pockets? Is there for example a technique for pulling the fabric around the rim? Can someone please describe the steps to take? Thanks.

A: Aside from steaming the wrinkles out, it is best to make sure that the wire frame within the background is not kinked in any way, which could be the cause of the pockets you're referring to. If using the white side, you can always light the background completely, which will essentially hide any imperfections on it.

Q: 9. I’m having trouble connecting the backdrop to the stand when hanging horizontally. When horizontal, there are no straps in the middle to connect to the stand, so how can it effectively connect and hang centered when there are no straps in the middle, only on either side of the middle? Thanks for your help!

A: This stand is made for Vertical orientation. You can use a 2nd stand for horizontal or get this stand with 2 clips B&H # IMLSRH

[32 W] After reading every review about these speakers on every website possible I was slightly hesitant to order. After getting and installing them I am truly blown away! The sound is amazing! Super clear mids and highs! Bass is okay, but I don't need bass from these,my subwoofer handles that. Only regret I have is reading all of the reviews and not ordering these sooner. I will buy these again and again. Overall amazing product. 5

[7.0 lb (3.2 kg)] We used this product in the ceiling of our conference room. These speakers are VERY loud for only having a 1-watt amplifier built in. You will NEED to purchase separately, the 24 volt power supply for EACH speaker in use in order to install these and have them function. Installation is super-easy and requires NO tools if mounting in suspended ceiling tiles. I highly recommend these. 5

[32 W] Great small format in-ceiling speakers. The sealed and ported enclosure protects them and provides a consistent bass response, unlike open back speakers. 70volt or 8ohm operation for a wide variety of commercial and residential applications. and... they sound good! 5

[104 dB @ 1 m] The PRJS66's are being used on a 10-speaker 70-volt PA system. They are suspended in an open ceiling that is painted black so they virtually disappear. They sound great, look great and are a terrific value! 5

[3 kHz] OK... I'm really apprehensive about good deals... But this is a GOOD DEAL!! I've got 12 rooms to place speakers in and after reading reviews about these speakers and seeing the cost as well I was still apprehensive. So I only purchased 3 pair and I'm glad I did!! As a matter of fact, I'm happier that I didn't purchase a few of the expensive ones to go into other rooms because now I'm going with these through out my house. If you want to blow the dough on more expensive speakers go ahead, but if you're on a budget you should be extremely happy with these speakers. I can't tell you about the installation process because I had a professional installer do it but apparently he didn't have a problem with it and he installed them within minutes. He didn't complain about the speakers either. There may be better speakers out there, but for the price I don't think anything should come close --- plus they come in a pair!!! Will definitely be ordering more soon!!! 5

[6 lb] We paired these little speakers with the Pyle Pro Mini Blue-Series Stereo 240W Home Theater Power for a conference room. They work great, we tried everything from classical to rap to safety videos and we impressed with the quality. Our room was only 18x20 and two speakers were plenty in our case. Will buy again. 5

[6 lb] Great sound, easy install, bi-way capable. Didn't try it but it's cool to have it in case you need. Loud and clear sound. Only issues was BH letting me order 4 and they only had 2 in stock. They had me wait over a month until finally I cancel the rest of the order and bought from Adorama the other 2 speakers. 5

[6 lb] How we use this product: We purchased this product to use in a classroom (25'by 30' with 8 ft ceiling). We have a computer connected to this projector and wanted to pass sound through the projector to this speaker. Things that are great: Easy installation - Sounds Great - Sound dispersion of 120 degrees helps hearing it very well all over classroom - Looks very nice attached to ceiling - Sound can also be controlled by projector remote control and/or computer volume control - Volume control on speaker helps balance - Simple directions - Great price! One thing that we have learned is that we can connect several of these speakers together. I also asked the company about connecting a second speaker to this one - they indicated that it is possible to daisy chain up to 6 of these together. (Ask company support for more details.) To complete the install - you will need Bogen Communications PRS2403 24V DC, 300 mA Power Supply and either speaker wire (18 gauge is recommended) and a 3.5mm connector (solder or screw type) or one can purchase a cable with bare wire on one end and 3.5mm connector on the other end. This is used between the speaker and projector audio output. It is a great speaker and it is working great in our school classroom. I would highly recommend this product. 5

[7.0 lb (3.2 kg)] These speakers were used as front stage speakers for my projector theater in a small-mid sized room. I'm only pumping 30 watts/ch and these speakers sound pretty great... The highs can be a bit tinny, and the low end bass not so great, but crossed over, it'll suit just fine. 5
