The Datavideo TLM-170R 7RU Rack Monitoris a 17.3" video monitor that delivers full HD 1080p resolution from various inputs, including 3G-SDI. The monitor is designed for a range of formats and standards, as well as 24/7 operation. The TLM-170R front panel buttons allow quick and easy selection of source input and features like PIP, aspect ratio, blue only, pattern (color bars), menu, and audio controls. Input HD/SD sources via the rear panel SDI, HDMI, component (Y, Pb, Pr), and composite connections as well as monitoring RCA phone or embedded SDI/HDMI audio.

The TLM-170R monitor has an on-screen display (OSD) menu which allows control and set up of brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, sharpness, color temperature, and picture in picture. It also has an RJ-45 TCP/IP connector to allow remote set up of the monitor using a Windows/Mac based web browser. The menus can also be used to display onscreen overlays for frame marker, 4:3 marker, 16:9 marker, cinema zone marker, center point, embedded SDI timecode, and monitor title. The monitor can be operated from AC or 12V DC power, making it flexible for use in a wide array of situations.

A: The XLR Audio connections on the Datavideo HS-3200 are standard 3[in XLR.

A: When using the Datavideo 12 Input HD-SDI And HDMI Hand Carried Mobile Studio one could record an individual file from each camera feed, only if that camera feed is mixed to be the only output.

Q: 5. Does this come with all cabling needed? Does it include a ptz controller? What is that little display monitor for? Can this stream to the web? If so what services can it stream to?

A: As per manufacturer, the HS-1600T-3C140TM Bundle combines the HS-1600T Portable Switcher (with built-in video streaming and recording) with 3x HDBaseT PTZ cameras (PTC-140T) and included WM-1 camera mounts for placing cameras in high places. In addition, one TLM-700K monitor is included to be used as a confidence monitor. Note: HS-1600T Requires a Solid Core, Cat -6 Shielded cable for Ethernet connection (cables for each camera - up to 3 cameras can be controlled - no other controller required). You can stream to most services, including Facebook and YouTube.

Q: 6. Looking at the picture of the backside of the monitor I see a 4 pin connection is this for power or audio? What type of audio input do these use?

A: That is a 4-Pin XLR connection for power. You will only be able to monitor embedded audio with this unit. You cannot bring in a separate audio feed.

Q: 7. Can the image be inverted on the display? I need to install one the folds up and one that folds down so that the two displays are one on top of the other

A: Hello,No, unfortunately you cannot set the image to flip on the TLM-170GM monitor.

Q: 10. Can this handle 8 audio inputs and 4 video inputs?

A: This switcher only has 4 XLR inputs. If you need additional audio inputs you can bring them in through the cameras as the HDMI and SDI inputs will carry both audio and video.

[12 VDC] Works with DVD players, unlike most monitors. Pretty good monitor but the sun hood is really cheap, stick-on velcro doesn't bond well to the plastic hood. 5

[29 x 16.25 x 7"] The Elvid SRM-17X1D-4KHS is a beast of a monitor that can pack up to be incredibly thin. It can fit into a single rack space but, that's not how I've been using it. Often times on shoots if we don't have a full-blown video village I'll at least have a table somewhere. That's where this monitor is great. Unscrew each side and slide it out and you have a monitor ready to go in seconds. And it's not just some small 7 inch monitor this thing is 17.3 and I often get oh that's cool when I set it up. You can load LUTS(via USB port) into it and it has HDMI, SDI and ethernet. It also has the ability to daisy-chain other monitors which is great. It supports HDR and has a wide viewing angle. It has all the standard monitoring tools I have come to expect from Elvid products as well as the ability to custom assign functions to 3 buttons. This thing even has at least one speaker in it. I'm pretty happy with this monitor and keep finding new ways to use it. [I received this item in exchange for my honest review] 5

[15 lb] This is a good cage. It comes with a good amount of hardware to start off with. You'll probably eventually need more depending on what you need to mount. One thing I've noticed is the handles are easily turnable even after tightening it down, but that's not a huge deal. 5

[30 W] I bought 2 of these hard drives as replacements for an old DataVideo recorder we use at work. They were easy to install and work great. Be sure you already have the DataVideo enclosure, which is $, otherwise the hard drive won't sit in the DataVideo recorder properly. 5
