A: I contacted Pentax with your inquiry, and they stated the correct lens hood for the Pentax smc FA 645 80-160mm f/4.5 Lens is the Pentax PH-RBF77 Lens Hood, MFR Part # 38729. Unfortunately this lens hood is no longer manufactured by Pentax and currently we do not have the lens hood in new or used options. I did check our new department and our Used Photography Department, but unfortunately, we do not have the lens hood new or used. As such, you may have to check either online in used camera stores or on a auction site like eBay to see if anyone is selling the lens. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

[300mm] 120mm macro is a true classic. Everybody does and the quality overall is pretty much the same (pentax, fuji, zeiss etc). What makes this one special? Well just look at the price...This focal lenght is a very usefull one, kind of must have. Good for portraits, landscape, bugs, nature and macros. The quality is here even wide open you'll get sharp and crispy images, even at the farthest corner (as usual with others 120 macro).I can complain about the build quality, is not as good as hassel and leica, specially the aperture ring! 5

[9.8' / 3 m] This lens sometimes gets a bit of a bad rap, but my experience is quite the opposite. The lens delivers very sharp results, and it is pretty light compared to other Pentax offerings. The compromise is that you only get an f/5.6 aperture. In practice that means that my 645Z has a harder time focusing in very dark situations, which is something that I can live with, but otherwise, very pleased with this little lens. 5

[77 mm (Front)] I havent got time yet to test it so much, bought it two weeks ago, but it is a fanstastic lens, very sharp. One thing that surprised me was the way to change between automatic and manual focus. It was a new thing for me that you changed it on the top of the lens, but now when I know, it is absolutely no problem. I can really recommend it, because of the macroeffects. 5

[Autofocus] This is the standard for the Pentax 645 D. It is sharp, has good contrast, and responds quickly to the auto focus. I have not noticed the soft corners that some reviewers have mentioned. The lens hood has a panel that can be removed to access filters. This is a nice feature. 5

[f/4] It's a 400mm f/5.6, internal focus, and that wonderful Pentax AF/MF slider mechanism on the focus ring. I just can't get over how ridiculously long the setup is when locked on the front of a 645D. It has detents at 90 degrees on the rotating collar. It comes with a carrying pouch with neck strap. 5
