The 100' 8-Channel ST Single-Mode Fiber Tactical Snake Cable from Camplex is a ruggedized and lightweight multi-channel fiber optic cable designed for multiple deployments for field production in outside broadcast, rental houses, and more. It is a highly flexible, tight-buffered tactical cable with internal aramid strength members for crush resistance in high-traffic areas and a polyurethane outer sheath designed to withstand crushing by both military tanks and outside broadcast vehicles. All assemblies are multi-stage, machine polished and tested for <-55 dB RL with test results for each channel supplied with this cable.

A: It is designed to connect to Mac and Windows computers, as well as the range of iOS and Android devices. But I suppose you could use the headphone output to route audio to your mixer.

Q: 3. Can this interface handle line level input? Like to send a mix from an analog mixer to a computer?

A: There is no line level input. Connect any standard XLR microphone or 1/4" plug for guitar, bass or keyboard to any iOS device, Mac or Windows computer for seamless audio capture

Q: 4. Will the Shure MOTIV MVi interface retain the last panel settings (volume / mode / mute) when it is disconnect & reconnected? What happens when you unplug it from one computer & plug the USB into another?

A: There is no internal battery, therefore settings would not be saved once power is disconnected.

Q: 5. Is the 1/4" input stereo or mono, and can it take a line feed from a mixer (as opposed to mic feed)?

A: I feed the mic input on this unit from the aux send line output (pre-fader) on my Mackie mixer with no issues. Just make sure you turn the aux master control way down to avoid signal clipping.

Q: 6. The package reads Load in Total Darkness. This film is not on a daylight loading reel?

A: It's on a daylight reel so you don't have to load in total darkness.

Q: 7. Can I record video simultaneously while using this interface with my microphone to record an interview?

A: Yes, the Shure MOTIV MVI can be used as the primary audio device during recording.

Q: 8. Will this fit in the K-3?

A: Yes, this 16mm film is compatible with the Krasnogorsk-3 film camera.

[8x ST] I ordered these Thor Fiber units as a suggestion from a pal; boy am I glad I took his advice. These little babies are awesome! and for the price they can't be beat. On top of that they had awesome tech support and helped get my issue resolved pertaining to frame rate as soon as I called. I'll be using these for now versus spending a small fortune on Telecast every time I need a quick fix. 5

[8x ST] I have a reel with just one channel on it, but found out it's cheaper to buy this cable and just remove the bracket from the LC side. Comes right out without cutting anything. 5

[2.85 lb] We pulled it through 3/4 conduit and it worked out great. We used a mesh so that the ends wouldnt have any tension when we pulled. We ended up connecting two of these in a dry location with couplers. Still working fine after a year. 5

[8x ST] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5
