A: The wind protection for the Super-Shield & Modular series are identical, with or without the Windjammer fitted. The difference is on the opening mechanism of each basket (Modular = slide on, Super = twist lock) and with the suspension & cable each is supplied with. The Modular suspension is extremely versatile, with different grades of hardness suspension Lyres, that can be repositioned in multiple positions for maximum balance. The Lyres on the Modular are universal (19-25mm round & square MKH), and feature a soft-grip inner surface & it is fitted with a 3-pin XLR/XLR Connbox using Neutrik & Mogami parts. The Super-Shield suspension comes with one type of 19-25mm Lyre, which does not have soft-grip. The Lyre can be repositioned, but only to a few locations on the bar.
