[1.4 lb (635 g)] Ordered from USA to Brisbane on a Monday and received Friday via DHL in time for dark skies on Saturday. WOW
Very light weight but solid. Performed well with Explore Scientific + Tele Vue eye pieces on my Celestron 11 and would highly recommend.

[1.4 lb (635 g)] I don't know much about eyepieces but I do have 4 explorer scientific. The 4.5mm and 8.5mm 82 degree, the 17mm 92 degree and the 30mm 82 degree.
I like them all but I really like the 17mm and 30mm.
I can't give any technical details but I can tell you that the 30mm is a pleasure to look through. The same can be said for the 17mm. It would be hard to choose between the two if i could only have one. I guess I would have to go with the 17mm because of the wide field of view plus greater magnification but i would really miss the 30mm.
And I would definitely go with B&H, i recently tried another store in NJ and got ........

[2.7" (69.3 mm)] Explore scientific oce again confirm its reputation. This eyepiece is really the best in its category, along with rhe Tele Vue Nagler but at half of that price: difficult to do better. Its huge apparent FOV, its contrast and its flat field make it a must for all owners of a long focal SCT.

[5.8" (147 mm)] I put this eyepiece on my Celestron EdgeHD 8. It is about the widest FOV that I could pull off the OTA. The view is really crisp with point stars to the edge. I can't see any edge brightening or vignetting. The resolution is enough to clearly see the four stars of M42 Trapezium, Jupiter bands, Saturn rings, and even, barely, Saturn cloud bands.
The eye relief is comfortable to view the entire field, without glasses.
This is a hefty piece. Not a problem on an 8 SCT, but may be awkward on a smaller OTA.

[2.7" (69.3 mm)] This is my first 2" EP and my first 82 degree FOV EP. The view of the double cluster (I could see both in the FOV with my Meade LS-8) was simply spectacular. I was a little anxious about spending close to $300 for an EP. However it is definitely worth the money.
