The IK Multimedia CSR Room Reverb Plug-In (Download)is designed to model the reverberation characteristics of small and medium sized rooms. This is useful for adding ambiance to vocals, percussion, and acoustic instruments without losing the natural character of the sound.

The plug-in can be operated in either easy mode or advanced mode. In easy mode, the most basic controls are available including mix, diffusion, reverb time, low time, high frequency, and high frequency dampening. Switching the software to advanced mode enables the user to adjust additional reverb parameters in greater detail.

The plug-in is fully compatible with native 32- and 64-bit applications on both Mac OS X (Universal Binary) and Windows (XP/Vista/7/8) computers. It supports VST, RTAS, AAX, and Audio Units plug-in formats. It can also be used with the T-RackS CS standalone application (sold separately).

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a Galaxy Samsung 6. I have a Galaxy Samsung 6 phone Will this cable work?

A: No, the 30-pin connection is meant for older iOS devices like the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, or iPad 2. The Samsung Galaxy S6 would use a Micro USB connection. To connect a digital iRig to a device with this connection you would need a Micro-USB to Micro-USB (OTG) cable or a Micro-USB to Mini-DIN connection. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/?A=micro-usb-to-mini-din-cable https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/?A=micro-usb-otg-to-micro-usb-cable

Q: 2. Will this work with my iPhone 11 with otter box

A: As long as it does not exceed the measurements of 3.5 to 5.5", yes, it will fit.

Q: 3. will this interface with a stand with a male 1/4-20 top?

A: The iKlip 3 Video includes a UNC 1/4"-20 male to 5/8"-27 female thread adapter.

Q: 4. Is the sound quality good with DSLRs ? I'd like to use this with running and gunning on-the-go with a shotgun mic and not have to sync audio in post. Thanks, Ef

A: The audio recorded by virtually any DSLR's built-in microphone is mediocre at best. The iRig Pre Microphone Interface is not designed to connect to cameras as it is intended for use with iOS devices like the iPhone or iPad. Consider a Shure VP83 LensHopper Shotgun Microphone B&H # SHVP83 which requires no adapters. It is a plug and play mic. An XLR shotgun powered by a battery will offer even better performance but will require a cable and an adapter. Shure VP83 LensHopper Shotgun Microphone B&H # RONTG2K2 (B&H Kit)

Q: 5. I will the stream work for this situation I'm in. xlr mic TC-Helicon PerformV 2i2 Focusrite IRIg stream iOS(TikTok, livestream singing)?

A: There are better and simpler options for your setup. After coming out of the TC-Helicon Perform-V, instead of going into the Focusrite 2i2 and then into the iRig Stream (which has an RCA input for line level signal), a better option would be to go from the XLR output of the Perform-V to the XLR mic input of the iRig Pre HD (B&H # IKIRIGPREHD). The Perform-V has a mic level output and the Pre HD has a dedicated mic input and mic preamp. The Pre HD is an interface that will connect to your iOS device in the same manner as the Stream. It's not necessary to use two interfaces, so the 2i2 is not needed in the signal chain and all you will need is the mic, Performer-V, and Pre HD. You would also be able to connect the mic directly to the XLR input of the Pre HD if you do not want to use the Perform-V.

Q: 6. What power adapter would I get for this unit?

A: This can be powered via bus power or by using the iRig PSU 3A external power supply. Unfortunately we do not carry the PSU.

Q: 7. Is there a AC adapter included in this bundle for the i-Rig Pro Duo ? Also, is it one mic or 2 included ? Picture shows 2 microphones ? And is a mic stand and mic cable included also ? Also, what bundled software is included ? Thanks

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo Studio Suite Deluxe does not include a power supply for the i-rig Pro Duo since it is bus powered. You may purchase a universal power supply on our site; B&H# HOACD477. The package includes only 1 microphone (pictured with a front and rear view) - the iRig Mic Studio XLR. This mic includes a desktop mic stand and mic cable. Lastly, the Music Production Bundle includes a variety of software for GarageBand and other recording applications; namely SampleTank 3 SE, Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE, AmpliTube 4, T-RackS Deluxe for mix and mastering, and mic room.

Q: 8. Will this hold a Lepow Z1 Gamut portable monitor? It is 15.6", with product dimensions of 14.2" x 8.8" x 0.34".

A: Based on the dimensions provided, it does not appear that the IK Multimedia iKlip 3 Video Universal Camera Stand Tripod Mount for Tablets will accommodate the Lepow Z1 Gamut portable monitor. The iKlip 3 will hold tablets and similar products that measure between 7 and 12.9".

Q: 9. Will this enable me to connect a Yamaha mixer directly to and iPhone 11 Pro?

A: Not sure if your setup will work. We were linking to an IMac and GarageBand - good luck!

Q: 10. Is this cable compatible with Evermix MixBox2 or EvermixBox4?

A: This cable is designed for IK Multimedia products and cannot be guaranteed to work with third party products.

[Download] I got this kit as part of the SampleTank 3 Max bundle and, for me, is the star of the entire suite. The multi-sampled hits and are what makes it so nice to play and never become tiring to my ears.

[1 User] Beautiful, lush, flexible reverb from Relab, whom I think are the best reverb developers outside of UAD at this point. The controls are simple but the tone-shaping abilities are robust. The 3 different algorithms each provide a different character of decay, and the ensemble modes provide absolutely gorgeous modulation on the tails.

[1 User] I love this software! Has made my life so easier. It is simple but still delivers wonderful results every time. I miss some more options when it comes to the types of music genre you are mastering but I dont think its very important. The sound is very high quality and it becomes more clear and louder after the master but not too loud of course. Its also suposed to deliver mastered tracks ready for selling on iTunes. That is good. Have not sold on itunes yet but hope and think it will do when that day comes!

It costs a bit of money but worth it in my opinion.

Get it!

[1 User] I had a lite version with Edius 10 video editing software. It worked pretty good. So I bought the full version to run with Resolve 17 and Adobe Audition. It works really well on natural room reverb.

[Yes] I have a project studio in a rental apartment so am a bit limited as to modifications that can be made for acoustic treatment; the room is very minimally treated and I knew some of its problems already. The room correction results I was able to get using the IK Multimedia ARC Studio v4 are quite impressive for my monitoring system (Heritage Audio RAM System 2000, Mackie HRS10 Sub and HR624mkII monitors). Currently, I have limited the range of the correction to the HR624s from about 53Hz to 16kHz, but once you have taken all the measurements (takes around 10 minutes for 21 points - very simple) it's very easy to change frequency ranges and target curves; the resulting sound is incredible given my room and monitoring system. Is it perfect - no - but given the starting point it's tremendously better; I think this is evidenced in the before and after graphs, but the graphs don't do justice to just how much better the resulting sound is; sound stage and separation are drastically increased, lows tightened, mids evened out and vocals have become much clearer. Should you purchase it? While there is no substitute for a well treated room - $300 (the cost of the ARC system) is probably not going to get you very far in traps, diffusers, absorbers, etc. (even if you DIY) - and your room will still have problems; so, for my use cases and budget it was definitely worth a try. I think that it will be my best studio purchase of 2024. Perhaps it will be yours also?
