[15 A] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Belkin International surge protector is terrific for use at my "charging station" especially since it has a built in phone protection. It allows up to 8 items although spacing is a bit tight which means some may have to skip a space for larger plugs. Seems to work well but there is one complaint and that is the 6 ft power cord. On one hand, it's nice to not have "extra" cord hanging around getting in the way - we always seem to be fighting with cord control - on the other hand, six ft means it doesn't reach every location with ease. In my case, it's set on a special shelf 4 ft off the ground and plugged into the wall behind...it's perfect for that location but could be annoying in another area. Fortunately this comes in different length sizes. Overall very pleased and would return to Belkin as it's a good balance between quality and price.

Thus far I have dropped this product multiple times moving it around and there isn’t a scratch or chip anywhere. I haven’t been able to test the surge protection and I hope I never do but everything works as it should and I am pleased!!!!

I have it connected in my living room with all of my gaming system. The other day there was a power outage when I was out and I was worried about my game system. When I got home everything was fine. I'm actually content with this outlet protector because it actually did it's thing and Ill be getting another one. I highly recommend it.

Spacing between ports is enough to toggle wider power cable connectors to make use of each port on the unit. It isn't totally necessay but having an LED would be preferred to indicate power is ON

I guess we were due anyway since ours was 13 years old. I did some research and ended up going with the Belkin International 8 Outlet Surge Protector with 6 foot power cord. The new unit was smaller and fit better behind our TV stand. It had more than enough outlets...even 1 to spare. It is working just as expected. I am going to get another one for our home office.

From time to time they give out and I have to find another. I’m really excited to be using belkin now because it is by far the best Quality. It has 8 different sections for plugs. My favorite part is the side plugs that allows for a bigger more brick type plug to be connected. I have children that do homeschool and this surge protector allows for us to have the pencil sharpener, laptop, and my own work items plugged in at the same time without having to find the standard plugs on the wall to have everything all at once. The power switch helps because it prevents accidental shutdowns. The chord is thick but I can appreciate the plug itself because it is low profile and fits nicely behind any desk. I have no complaints!
