The Millett Speed Point Red Dot Sight 5 MOA Picatinny Riserfrom Millett's tactical series is a red dot sight for tactical firearms. It is best suited for use with flattop AR-15 Type rifles.

The all-aluminum sight has eleven brightness settings and is fully waterproof and shockproof. The supplied riser block positions the sight at a proper height on flattop AR-Type rifles. The reticle shifts in 1 MOA increments, and the scope comes with 30 mm rings and lens covers.

Q: 1. 2 questions.. 1. Will this fit properly and securely on gitzo traveler kit gt1545T+gh1382tqd? 2. Can I stack 2 of these units one on top of the other securely with no mechanical slop or wobbel-if stacked, should they be locktited (blue).. Thanks

A: The Acratech Tripod Head Riser, 2" has a 60mm diameter so it woudl hang over the edge of the the Gitzo GT1545T which has a 37mm diameter. Stacking 2 of the risers is physically possible but as a tripod head is raised higher by either a column or a riser, it increases the risk of shaking especially with long lenses.

Q: 2. Does this mount on most tripods, especially Manfrotto's?

A: Yes I have on with a manfrotto 410 head and tripod. The threads are a standard size and will work on just about any tripod.

Q: 3. This description is confusing. Exactly how high will this light stand go? Is it two sections or 3?

A: Minimum height is more like 21-22" + the height of your base.

Q: 4. Can these platforms be connected to increase the platform size?

A: The Axler Portable Medium Duty Shooting Riser is designed for stand alone ( one at a time) use and is not designed to link with other Axler Riser or create a floor.

Q: 5. Do other grip heads work on this column? I have a flashpoint grip head and I want to know if it's compatible.

A: Any standard grip head would work on this as the 5/8 stud is standard.

Q: 6. Would this fit with a Kupo runway base stand? Also what would the minimum vs maximum height be when paired with the base?

A: This will fit a runway base. The base would add 10.2". The riser can go from 20" to 4.5'.

Q: 7. is there a set screw to secure the ball head to the top of the adapter?

A: There is no known set screw. It is our opinion that a good twist will hold it in place for as long as you want it.

Q: 8. does this have any set screws?

A: The Acratech 1045 does not have set screws.

Q: 9. Can this be mounted on top of the 8Sinn 15mm Lightweight Baseplate? MFR #8-15MM-LW-BP

A: No, the 8Sinn Riser Plate II is only compatible with the 8Sinn 15mm Baseplate (BH #8S815BP • MFR #8-15BP).

Q: 10. Will this Kupo 20 C-Stand Riser fit into an Impact Turtle base?

[1x] I cannot say enough about this sight and the Burris company. Bought this sight last year for turkey hunting. Easy to sight in. Made me a better shot. However, while hunting i slipped coming off of a hill side and landed on my gun. I had damaged the sight. Burris stands behind their warranty. They replaced my sight with no questions. Replacing the sight only took a week to do so. What a great company! Thanks Burris! 5

[Red] I have my Burris FF3 paired with my AR332 optic on my AR-308. AR332 is sighted in at 100yrd & FF3 is sighted in at 50yrds for close engagement for hogs & coyotes. Holds zero very well. FF3 is very clear and easy to utilize. Brightness is sufficient for my needs. Will buy again if the need arises. 5

[1x] I used this on my Browning 7mm last rifle season in the north woods of Wisconsin. From tree stand to deer drives this scope worked incredibly well. The 3x is low enough to sight in a buck that jumps up out of nowhere and the quick adjustment to the higher powers works great for sighting in anything from midrange to far distances. The 42mm front lens is ample enough to draw in enough light for those last light time frames. The E3 reticle was my choice for what I was hunting and the style I want from a reticle. The E3 has enough reticle that is useable but does not clutter your view. If you want a quality scope that does the job well, save some cheddah and consider this scope. 5
