Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this camera lense work with the canon 70D?

A: This is one of the best 50mm lenses out there. And yes, it will work great on your 70D.

Q: 2. Hi , Is it possible to connect the camera to an android OS ? Does it need a special driver or is it like a regular UVC camera ?

A: Unfortunately this model is not able to be connected to an Android OS, my apologies. You are correct it is a regular UVC camera.

Q: 3. I Was Wondering If This Lens Does Come With The Nikon HB-24 Lens Hood? Was This Lens Hood Discontinued?

A: The Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm F/1.2 S lens comes with the HB-94 Lens Hood.

Q: 4. Do you think this lens would work well for basketball in a gym with mixed lighting?

A: This would be a matter of opinion and based on where you are viewing the game from, but I prefer a zoom lens since the action would be moving constantly. Instead of the Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S Lens, the following 70-180mm lens would be a better choice: https://bhpho.to/479Nq6N.

Q: 5. How does the 1.2 measure up for landscape shots?

A: The Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.2 is actually very sharp at f/1.2. However I would recommend not shooting landscapes at f/1.2 unless you were doing astrophotography.

Q: 6. How do you adjust the programable control ring?

A: The programmable control ring on the Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S Lens needs to be set from the camera itself. In the custom control settings of the camera you can set the function of the control ring.

Q: 7. Where is it made?

A: This lens is made in Thailand.

Q: 8. Can I use this lens on a BlackMagic URSA Mini EF? More specifically, does the camera electronics talk to the lens via ATEM switcher? Finally, when making Iris adjustments (from the switcher, are the changes smooth or does the iris step up/down through the stops?

A: Yes, you can use a ATEM switcher to remotely control the iris of an EF lens on the Blackmagic Design URSA Mini. We assume the iris changes will step down incrementally and not in an obvious fashion, I.E., not in full stops.

Q: 9. Is there a crop factor with this lens on a Blackmagic Ursa mini 4.6?

A: The Blackmagic Design URSA Mini 4.6K Digital Cinema Camera has a super 35mm sensor which is roughly the same size as an APS-C size sensor. So, that camera would have a 1.6X crop factor. When using the 50mm lens on the URSA Mini, it would have roughly the same angle of view as an 80mm lens shot on a full frame camera.

Q: 10. can I rent this lens for a 10 day trip to Aix en Provence - for a funeral?

A: Unfortunately, B&H does not have a rental department.

[8 to 14 µm] Pretty good bag for the price, seems very well made. No padding.

[8 to 14 µm] I have a larger, bulkier lighting kit bag, but it was made for big reflective bowls, monolights and older, bulkier setups. Now that I shoot mostly smaller, industrial setups in tight locations I've switched to small, shape-specific LED units, and I I need are a handful of stands and a tripod. So a yard-log shoulder bag with a roomy main compartment and two smaller ones (sure, I gotcher angle mount right here) is absolutely perfect. Quick in, quick setup, quick teardown and I'm outtathere in one trip. Seems built really well, so I should be using this for a long time.

[9 Hz] Ordered this bag to carry 3 light stands with a few odds and ends, and there is room for more. I like it.

[80 x 80] Using it to carry lightstands and some modifiers. Been using it for last few years now and it might not come with any paddings, it's a relialbe bag that you can trust the quality. No rips or zipper breaks yet.. strap connectors are still intact. My decision to purchase this bag was the size and price. I don't want to spend alot of money for carrying lighting stands...

[80 x 80] Everyone knows that pro photo gear is expensive, and sometimes it just does not make any sense, such as light stand bags that cost hundreds of dollars. Hey, it's a bag. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the LSB bag on B&H - good features, roomy, and very affordable. I was even more pleasantly surprised when I received it. The workmanship is first rate. I have various other hobby bags - skiing, motorcycle luggage, and some scary-expensive camera bags - the LSB compares favorably to all of them in terms of quality and durability. Highly recommended

[<100 mK] Really impressed with the quality of this bag, especially for the prices; material, stitching, and zipper are really good. Have it holding 2-42 strip banks, 1-36 Octo, 1-32 softbox, 1-52 softbox, and speed rings.

[9 Hz] I bought this bag back on 2009 and didn't write any review till now, so far this bag has seen a lot. Most of my assignments are outdoors and I always carry with tripods, lightstands and soft boxes, always full capacity. It also has been through a lot of flights and airports, it has never failed and the zipper still flawless. Now I'm looking for an other one. Nothing wrong with my old bag, I just have more equipment to carry.

[9 Hz] This is a very durable, thick material. There are some nice pockets inside and out. The ends are thick. Sure if you want to toss it around you may break your stands. I don't toss around my stands and can get a lot in here.
