Q: 1. Is there a Canon battery plate available?

A: Unfortunately we do not have a Canon battery plate available for this monitor. Keep in mind this kit does come with a Sony NP-F style battery and charger.

Q: 2. Do both ends feature a mini ball head? I can't tell in the photo if they'll swivel around like a mini ball head.Thank you,Jon

A: Yes. Both ends have the mini ball head. It's a nice arm.

Q: 3. Is this good enough to hold a yolobox ultra and is this gonna fit in a manfrotto 055 tripod easy link thread?

A: The Noga Cine Arm DG Hold-It Arm has a payload capacity that is able to hold a YoloLiv YoloBox Ultra. To connect to a Manfrotto Easy Link, you would need a reducer bushing such as the Oben 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing (BH #OB1039).

Q: 4. what's different about this model from the previous frio shoe mount?

Q: 7. Did anyone use this monitor outdoor on a sunny day(summer)? is it bright enough on a sunny day? we do multi-cam setup for outdoor events and it's hard for our camera crew to look at the little camera in-built LCD screens. Appreciate any help/input form you guys. Thank you

A: While the sunhood which is included will help, at 450 Nit is really is not meant to be used as a monitor in bright sunlight. For an inexpensive option that will work well in daylight you could check out the PORTKEYS HH7 7" HDMI IPS On-Camera Monitor, B&H # POHH7, which is rated at 1200 Nit. https://bhpho.to/2BJpcnv

Q: 8. An separate metal washer comes with the product in a small plastic bag. What is this washer for? How is it used?

A: The Metal washer could be used with the side that does not connect to your camera. If you can't get a tight connection you could add the washer.

Q: 9. Where can I find just the red rubber grip washer attached to this product please?

A: Try the company 16x9 in California. They importer Noga arms into the US.

Q: 10. does this work with the JVC GY HM-600?

A: Yes it should. The HM-600 offers an HDMI output which you can connect to this monitor.

[3] I have purchased other less expensive articulating arms and have had 2 of them just fall apart and break. The Nova Cine Arm is extremely well made and I haven't had a problem with it yet. I have 3 of these. They are a little spendy, but well worth every penny. I like the length and the lever to adjust it. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

[2.44 lb] These are hands down the best and most affordable arms I have ever used. They are half the price of the super heavy duty ones but these are super heavy duty if you are coming from the cheaper ones. I have never had it budge on me when holding a SmallHD 702.

[3] I had a cheaper Noga arm that would always slip and not hold my monitor if there was a small bump while handheld. This Noga arm holds my 7inch monitor and has yet to slip while running and gunning

[3] Thing is heavy duty and over-built. I'd trust it to hold most anything, as a bonus you can use it in self-defense.

[3] I purchased this magic arm with the intention of mounting my webcam on my Wacom Cintiq 27 Pro. In short, it worked and it was beyond overkill hahaha.

But love the quality.

[2.44 lb] It's more expensive than the other arms but Noga arm is the best. It can hold tighter and stronger.

[2.44 lb] It was shorter than I expected (my problem, not theirs...I've seen one in real life, which was larger). I've used the less expensive versions which do NOT feel nearly as sturdy as this. I cannot imagine ever breaking this or having it fail. The lever for tightening down the arm can be repositioned to give you better leverage or get it out of the way. It has a nice pad on one end for holding cameras or lights.

I used medium-strength thread locking liquid to semi-permanently attach this arm to an 'Impact Short Double Female Stud for Super Clamps with 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 Threads.' This allows you to quickly snap this into a Super Mafer clamp, or other standard grip gear.

Best practice seems to be to clamp the arm to whatever you are clamping it to, loosen the lever completely, hold the light or camera where you want it with your non-dominant hand, then tighten the lever with your dominant hand.

[3] Got this arm because I had heard it was one of the best out there and had a long standing reputation in the industry. So far its proven to live up to the hype. Totally solid arm that feels like it was quality crafted. Not flimsy at all and I am never worried that my monitor is going to fall off or get damaged.
