A: Either contact the maker, or fashion one out of rubber, cutting to exact size, to get a tight grip.

Q: 3. what is the length of this arm? (this info is always needed can't see why it shouldn't be on the specs)

A: This arm is about 11 long.

Q: 4. Where can I find support/repair for this arm. The tie down handle stripped inside and no longer stays together.I'm searching for that part.

A: Please contact Noga directly. Noga Engineering Ltd.P.O.B. 55Dora Industrial Park.Shlomi 22832, IsraelTel: 972-4-9808080Fax: 972-4-9808638E-mail: noga@noga.comhttp://www.noga.com/nogaContact.php.

Q: 5. Is this the same size on both ends? In the picture it appears to be squared on one end and flattened on the other. What are the INSIDE Dimensions on each end?

A: The base is about 8x10 with hard insert so it may be able to stand up. The length is 53 and it is wider at flattened top end, to 13 . Hard to find this large size and reasonable price like did at B&H. I put light stands and my tripod in for easy travel or just storage.

Q: 7. There is a washer in small clear plastic zip bag, in the Noga box. What is this for?

A: Articulating arms such as the Noga DG9038CA CineArm DG (Medium) (B&H# NODG9038CA) sometimes come with washers which are designed to increase the surface area in contact between the screw end of the arm and whatever it attaches to. That can reduce the chance of it slipping.

They look the same!! I know one has a 3/8 instead of a 1/4 bottom. I'm using for a shogun flame..thank you guys!!

A: The DG9014 is threaded at both ends of the arm for 1/4-20 thread attachment while the DG9038CA is 1/4-20 top and 3/8-16 bottom.

Q: 9. Do both ends feature a mini ball head? I can't tell in the photo if they'll swivel around like a mini ball head.Thank you,Jon

A: Yes. Both ends have the mini ball head. It's a nice arm.

Q: 10. I just got this in the mail. Why is the arm greasy? It's like someone sprayed it w/ WD40.

A: Noga Cine Arm DG Hold-It Arm has bit of grease when you pick it up from the box. This is use as lubricant, I will recommend cleaning up the surface if you notice any grease after cleaning the articulated arm it will be consider as defective.

[0.7 lb (0.3 kg)] after buying about four of the less expensive ones, i bought this. it's already outlasted the previous four.

[0.7 lb (0.3 kg)] This is a great arm I use primarily for holding a monitor in place on my camera rig. I recently purchased it for my FX3, which is a much smaller setup. It's a little big on that setup, but still works great, especially if I build it out. I would recommend using this for cameras like the FX6, Red's, Arri's etc. and larger.

[0.7 lb (0.3 kg)] Not to much to say other than it works really well. I haven't had it come loose on me or not hold up my SmallHD 702.

[0.87 lb] I purchased the Noga CineArm to support my Marshall 7inch monitor with a Sony BP-U60 battery attached for power, and it has no problem holding the weight. I tried a Pearstone, but it just wasn't strong enough. I am definitely happy with the Noga CineArm. I have confidence the monitor is going to stay in the position I put it in.

[9.1" (23.1 cm)] I used one of these back when I was a film student and falsely assumed all brands made theirs to similar specs... I was wrong. Noga makes the best articulating arms in the business. I am very pleased with this product. I use it to hold my Atomos Shogun GH4 to my rig. Once tightened, there is next to no movement.

[9.1" (23.1 cm)] is what one expects. strong, firm, but fluid and versatile at the same time. The best way to hold a monitor. I use a 7 and it works great.
