Designed for the latest immersive sound surround formats, the white QSC AP-5122 12" Cinema Surround Loudspeaker Whiteprovides uniform power response from the Directivity Matched Transition (DMT) technology that matches the LF and HF coverage in the crossover region, as well as the axisymmetric waveguide for an uncompromised performance in both the vertical and horizontal axes. The wide 90° dispersion provides ideal coverage for large seating areas in a room with low-ceiling height.

The 15mm Baltic birch enclosure houses a 12" woofer and 3" compression driver, which combine for a frequency response of 48 Hz to 18 kHz (-10 dB) and a maximum SPL of 128 dB (peak). The loudspeaker can be used passively or bi-amped and accepts NL4 or barrier strip input connectors. QSC recommends an 880W amplifier capable of driving 8 Ohms. The QSC AP-5122 includes 15 threaded M10 insert points.

Q: 1. I am new to studio lighting and I am thinking of buying this kit as my first background set. I am also buying from you the lighting kit ( Impact Three Monolight Portrait Boom Kit with Case (120VAC))... and I was wondering if the background kit material, size & color choices are something that would all work with the lights I am buying as a starter purchase. Are marbled colored back drops better/easier to start with..etc? Also, is there anything else I would need to purchase to make this fully functional for me?

A: I have just the black one, with the stand, and I'm loving it I wish I had bought the 3 colours, its VERY easy to put the stand together and adjust it, and the material seems lightweight but durable, I've only had it for a few days so haven't fully put it to the test but as far as I can tell it's going to be perfect; easy to carry with me, set up, and take down, and wash!

A: Yes will work with the 4k and 6k.

Q: 4. Do you think this is a better deal than the savage economy product?

A: The backgrounds in the Savage Accent kit are much larger, 10x 24. And the Economy kit the backgrounds are 5x 9. For shots larger than head and shoulders the Accent kit is much better because the backgrounds are too small on the Economy kit.

Q: 5. Will this power the Blackmagic Cinema 6k Pro?

A: Yes, this will work with the 6K Pro as well.

Q: 6. Can I have an LP-E6 battery inside the camera while using this cable plugged in and will it recharge the battery while powering the camera?

A: This A/C Power Supply will only power the camera.

Q: 7. What size is the chroma?

A: This backdrop measures 10 feet wide by 12 feet tall. There is a 2 inch rod pocket sewn in across the top of the 10ft edge for hanging.

[95 dB] I bought 2 of these speakers to run out smaller workshop events with and to have them be the lead loudspeakers for our 500+ festivals where we rent 4-6 other similarly sized units. The vocals and cleanliness of music at nearly all volumes in unmatched. We love that these have a lot of manual controls (DEEP, flat, external sub + Vocal boost, normal) outside of the mixer to further tailor what we're using them for in any given set. Yes, these have the DEEP effect which adds a substantial amount of low end if you don't want to tie in subwoofers. Love them. 5

[74.82 lb] These protect the speakers very well. In the past I had no covers and the speakers would get beat up and look like they just came off a international road show. These covers/Totes keep them looking new...I like them very much. 5

[95 dB] We are a church and needed speakers for outdoor events, parties, dancing, picnics for about 100 to 200 folks. I called a friend who happens to install home sound and video systems in high end homes, big dollar systems and asked him what I should get. He turned me on to QSC and narrowed it down to the CP12 series for our application. There were other speakers that did more stuff but my friend the audio expert said Get the tool that does the main job very well and not all the gingerbread, it will last a lot longer. I did and wow the speakers sound great!!! 5

[74.82 lb] We installed two of these in a large space, that honestly needed about three times that many cabinets for coverage. We knew they would have to run at a high volume to be effective and they were! We powered them with the QSC RMX 2450 amp. They were clean, strong and tight. The client was happy and of course, so were we! 5
