Q: 1. How this adapter work with GH4 Lumix?

A: yes. magnificent workmanship compared to cheaper brands plus infinity focus on switar 10f16.

Q: 2. Will this work with the dual range 50 summicron?

A: This adapter works with all M mount lenses.

Q: 3. Will this adapter work to mount a L39 lens (such as an old Leica LTM lens to my Olympus OMD M1Mk2? Or will it place lens too close to sensor? I thinking of the 5cm Leica Summacron or the 3.5cm Summaron

A: Yes it will.

Q: 4. so with this adapter I can connect my Nikon lenses to my gh4, but how can I change my aperture since the lense is not the native lense?

A: Aperture is changed manually by turning the aperture ring on the adapter.

Q: 5. Will this adapter work with the Fuji X series camera?

A: I don't think so. Fuji Cameras such as the XT1 are APS-C sensors and are larger than Micro 4/3 format. The above adaptor should only work with Micro 4/3 formatted cameras, such as Panasonic, Olympus. Vello probably makes an adapter for the APS-C cameras, specifically the Fuji X series.

Q: 6. Will this work with a Black Magic Pocket Cinema 4k camera?

A: Yes this adapter can work with the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema 4K Camera.

Q: 7. will this work with Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.4 Lens (Single Coated) on a Sony A7

A: The Vello Leica M Lens to Micro 4/3 Camera adapter would not be compatible with the Sony a7. The Sony a7 has the Sony E mount, which is different than the micro 4/3 mount. To use the Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.4 on the a7, you could any of the adapters on the following link. http://bhpho.to/1gaBPW9

Q: 8. Does this adapter connect to this Celestron SLR Camera Adapter to insert into a 1.25 ?https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/202135-REG/Celestron_93625_SLR_35mm_OR_Digital.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/202135-REG/Celestron_93625_SLR_35mm_OR_Digital.html/a

A: B&H # CETA1.25 MFR # 93625 fit into the telescope eyepiece perfectly. I had a little trouble holding it securely in place with the thumbscrew on the eyepiece holder, but it was doable. On the other end, I purchased a canon mount that would connect the camera to this adapter you asked about. All in all pretty slick little adapters. I have an unresolved problem getting my camera to focus through the telescope. I think it is due to my ignorance.

Q: 9. so basically the lens turns into a manual apperture, that is cool but:Does the metering in the camera still working ok when adapting a lense?does it has any quality lose while using the adapter?what about when taking still pictures? Does the shutter speed still working properly?

A: The metabones prevents the camera from communicating with the lens.So no, the camera doesn't tell you the aperture reading and will always read as 0. Therefore, you always have to use other means (zebras) to not over expose. You also can't achieve a desired aperture to control DOF (such as 2.8) because, again, the camera can't report the aperture.I haven't taken still pictures so I'm not sure how this affects that mode.

Q: 10. Will this adapter fit to an old Spiratone T Mount 500 mm mirror lens?

A: The Vello T-Mount Lens to Micro Four Thirds Camera Lens Adapter will fit all T-mount lenses including the Spiratone T-Mount 500mm mirror lens.

[Metal] Very good lens adapter for use with the Panasonic AG-AF100. If you own lots of lens it's a must have to broaden your choices. Very tight fit, well machined and solid. John Jenkins. @

[0.2 lb] The Novaflex adapter has let me use my wonderful really old Pentax M42 50mm macro lens again, on my Panasonic GF1 and GH2. With the crop factor of 2, the lens becomes a 100 mm in 35mm terms, a very convenient focal length for macro work. The build quality on the adapter is excellent.

[Black] I had a similar experience as the first reviewer. I did not find that the Voightlander was loose, but did notice that there was not a distinct click when the adapter was mounted on the camera. I did not realize that I would need to use a piece of plastic to hold the aperture of the lens open with the Voightlander, while the Novaflex has a ring on the outside that lets you adjust the aperture manually. I was afraid that the little snippit of credit card wedged in the aperture control of the lens might some day work loose and scratch the sensor on my G1, so I decided to go with the Novaflex. The machining on the inside doesn't look perfect, but the adapter fits snugly and functions perfectly.

[Metal] I'm thrilled to be able to use my Zeiss lenses on a digital camera -- not quite automatic, but it works

[0.2 lb] I purchased this adapter to let me shoot my legacy 35mm lenses. It works perfectly. As for the legacy lenses, they were fantastically expensive and I sorely missed auto-focusing and image stabilization. But this well-crafted adapter let me shoot them perfectily--with auto-exposure--on my Panasonic DMC GX1.

[Black] Backfocus dimension is eerily perfect, seems to reach infinity exactly at the infinity stop on the lens. Slightly worrying: what if it doesn't quite reach infinity? On the other hand, why argue with perfection?
This appears to be a single piece of metal, finished inside and out with some matte black anodizing or paint. Slightly worrying: what if it wears off and leaves black dust inside the camera? Chrome plated wearing surfaces would be more reassuring. But again, no actual sign of a problem.
Orientation of the lens when screwed on: quite acceptable, pretty close to centered. Fortunate, since it can't be adjusted.
Price: surprisingly low for something from this premium brand.
So, hey, seems like by far the best option out there for this kind of adapter.

[Metal] I heeded the comments of the first 2 reviews and purchased this more expensive adapter. I just bought into MFT format and got the Lumix GX7. I've been having fun manual focusing all my Pentax lenses with this adapter. Images came out great especially with the FA 43, FA 31and the DA 50-135. Well worth every penny.

[Black] I was initially hesitant to pay for this adapter, until I started adjusting and disassembling other adapters. I have adapters from every brand B&H sells and a bunch of others too. I was shocked at how most are built. It's just not worth saving money on an adapter that might fall apart and drop my lens on the pavement.
