[Yes] This was one of the first video lights I ever used over 15 years ago and it's still one of my favorites for budget applications. For the price, this kit is an excellent choice for schools, churches, community groups, and small businesses who need an inexpensive way to drastically improve the look of their videos. It's sturdy and lightweight and the umbrella included with this kit essentially makes it an inexpensive alternative to a softbox that costs nearly 3x as much. The only downside is that it gets very hot, but that's a given with any tungsten light.

[Foldable] A lot of light in a small package. Lightweight and packs small for travel, I use them for video. When size and weight matters , they can't be beat. They do run hot, and draw about 7 amps.

[Yes] I typically use these for back light but they are excellent you need a bright dimmable light in a tight space. The gel frame is a nice ad-on but before I go one, I would carefully rig the light with cloths pins. With an umbrella, this light gets even more versatile. My only caution is, this is tungsten so it gets hot.

[Foldable] My daughter needed a new light and fast. A good friend suggested that I call customer service and I am so glad I did. The support guy listened carefully to what I needed and what our price range was and offered two options. I took a leap and went with Tota. This little thing puts out a ton of light for being so small and lightweight. In fact, I ordered a white umbrella today to filter but it was perfect to eliminate backlight shadows. I love that it is so lightweight since we have been working with some older, bulky lights. I wish I had ordered the stand cause we had to find and rig one up since the one I had wasn't sturdy enough to handle the way the light sits off balance on the stand.
