The Kinotehnik LCDVF32D 3" Viewfinder for Canon & Panasonic Camerasis a loupe for select Canon and Panasonic cameras. It features a pair of vacuum cemented achromatic lenses with anti-reflective coating. It provides 2.2x magnification and allows the camera's LCD screen to be viewed even in bright, sunny outdoor conditions. The LCDVF32D features a magnetic quick release mount that is designed to enable quick attachment and removal without incurring any wear and tear.

The adhesive frame for magnetically holding the Viewfinder may or may not work on the camera. In such a case, hang the Viewfinder around your neck with the included lanyard.

I haven't attached the metal frame, however, because it seems that the frame prevents you from closing the flip screen with the screen facing in. Am I missing something here?

A: The hood is compatible but is not made specifically for the Canon 70D. [0.625 lb] I've got two BMPCC OG cameras and both have these Kinotehniks attached pretty much at all times. Makes it so easy and nice to view the screen especially in bright situations, but honestly even in dark, it's just easier to see the screen. The magnet is also just the perfect strength, it pops off when you want, but holds tight during shoots. Highly recommended! 5

[2.2x (220%)] Took my BMPCC outdoor shooting from grueling to relaxing, no issues with mounting or focusing. I cleaned the camera with simple soap and water, dried; mounted the frame and let it sit for a day under the weight of the camera before shooting. 5

[3.84 oz / 110 g] I just started shooting on location a few months ago, it was frustrating to think I captured a good shot, only to upload it to my computer and see that I did not open the lens far enough (blurry) in areas where I didn't want there to be. I saw a photographer using one of these and decided to order one. I took it on my next photo shoot, it gave me piece of mind in knowing I captured the shot. I always order from B&H. Always fast shipping and excellent customer support. In fact I chatted with a representative online prior to ordering this. Quality seems excellent, very happy with the purchase. I typically opt out of spending money on camera gear other than lenses, however if you get paid to shoot on location, this is a must have. I could not imagine having to tell my client that we have to shoot again because the pictures did not come out clear as originally thought. Just buy it! 5

[0.625 lb] I think this is an excellent product and I am glad to see BH has started stocking it. Functionally it is extremely easy to use, the magnetic attachment is solid yet not too hard to remove. The optics are sharp and the LCD becomes huge to the eye (you can even see the gaps between pixels). The included accessories are also a nice touch. The fabric eye piece cover is definitely nicer than the rubber and the neoprene carrying case is a nice touch. The only downside is size but that is true of any loupe. I use it on a NEX-5n and prefere the modular solution to the deidcate EVF. 5

[0.625 lb] Received the LCDVF 16/9 and tried it out on my Nex-5n right away. I did not want to glue the frame on my LCD directly so I installed a Clarivue screen protector and glued it on there. Kept some weight on it and it is solid strong. Magnetically clipping the LCDVF to the frame is secure although I wouldn't carry the camera from there. The picture quality of the LCDVF is great and it makes the focusing a breeze. Best of all it leaves the accessory port free. I really like the foam pad that the company included for the eye piece as well as the carry pouch. What I do not care for is the lanyard, it is annoying and it gets in the way. The one thing I would have liked is a diopter setting but this is not the case. I guess it is one way to bring price down compared to other similar products. 5
