[61 Keys] I have only had the Electribe for 10 days or so, but so far it is one of the more useful rhythm tools I have used. I play mostly folk, blues, and world-type music but I have already developed some excellent rhythm tracks using mostly the percussion section and going light on the filters that significantly modify sound. Another positive factor is that while simple to use initially, a person could spend months experimenting with the different sounds and filters. I also like that it is both a box that will essentially play the rhythm track for you or you can play it as an instrument. While I would like a song mode, it does have a Pattern Set process that allows you to string many four-bar pattern sets in a row by just touching a button before the end of the last beat of the fourth measure of a pattern. I would like to have eight measures instead of four and the Chord function would be more useful if it displayed the chords being played. [61 Keys] This keyboard has the Sounds of a Kronos with out the heavy price tag. 88 weighted keys with a nice feel and action. Easy to navigate color touch screen and many user programmable buttons make using this keyboard a pleasure. The setlist feature is a a huge help for live performance. Now for the downside. This keyboard is heavy. Weighing in at about 50 pounds. Also the transpose button is a little weird having to use a shift key then push the octave change buttons to transpose. . Also the boot up time is very long, about 2 minutes before you can play. All in all this is a great keyboard.

[Black] I have had many keyboards and the Korg i3 is my latest and I am loving it. Getting together with my band menbers doesn't happen often enought for me but with the i3 I am able to play with the backing tracks and get what I need to create and fill out new ideas. It is easy to learn and sounds are very good ... of course it's not a Nord or a Kronos... which cost 4 or 7 times more. The piece and the price are well worth the purchase...and *Note- since Korg has started dropping the street price of this little beauty I'm thinking it may about to be replaced or worse ...just disappear like the old original Korg i3 first generation from decades ago(1993). If you are interested in an rompler/arranger type keyboard you should get this one while you can...and the lowered price for this make it a ridiculously good deal that shouldn't be missed.

[Black] bh delivered it quickly. i needed the new bluetooth feature. works GREAT. the 5 octave version rocks, i wish korg made a microkey 88 key version. within a short distance, this could be someone's skinny keytar, but for me it just means i can trigger the killer organs and pianos in korg module and my imini app, which is an amazing minimoog sim, and i would know, long time moog fanatic. this keyboard and the imini gives you a minimoog, a polyphonic mini with programmable presets, that you can play on battery on the band bus. the microkey air runs on 2 AA batts, brilliant. key action is excellent and even. AND this time they gave us a sustain pedal input, which in korg module also lets you trigger the leslie effect! totally a great buy, worked perfect outta the box.
