The black Voice Technologies VT506WA Water Adventure Miniature Lavalier Microphone with TA4F for Shure Wireless Transmitters is used for vocal and speech reproduction in environments and applications including sports, broadcast and TV, film, theater, rugged outdoor shoots, and more. It features a frequency response of 40 Hz to 20 kHz and has an omnidirectional pickup pattern.

The VT506WA is an IPX-7 certified waterproof version of the VT506 lavalier microphone and can endure temporary water submersion of up to 3.3' (1m). It has a reinforced cable that protects against sweat, cuts, and tearing. Included with this microphone is a waterproof Otter box case with foam insert, alligator microphone clip, Dracula microphone clip, foam windscreen, tie-tac clip, and a rubber body microphone mount.

A: No. It is compatible with mobile phones or tablets that offer a 1/8 TRRS Connector

A: Two things: 1) You'll need a TSSR to TSR adapter such as the B&H # ROSC3. 2) You'll need to turn on plug-in power. I have the Zoom H6 Handy Recorder and the Shure MVL lavalier works great when plugged into the 3.5mm jack on the XY module with plug-in power turned on.

Q: 3. Will this work if connected to a Win 10 2-in-1 PC? Not sure if PCs provide the power needed to operate the mic.

A: It will not work in your computer. That is a TRRS cable made for phones. You can try turning it into a TRS with this cable B&H # ROSC3 available on our website.

A: It is compatible with Mobile Phones or Tablets only and not designed for use with DSLR cameras or camcorders.

A: Not directly. You would need to use this with an additional adapter to make it compatible with the Go, that adapter is B&H # ROSC3.

[5 x 3.6 x 1.6"] Exactly what the description said it would be. It's about twice the size of an ECM-50, but it has excellent sound quality for lower level productions. Seems fairly rugged and requires no batteries. Use it for church shoots. 5

[Black] I've used a lot of lav mics, from the $25 range to the $250 range. I got this mic in a package with some other equipment, and have been blown away at its professional sound. The signal-to-noise ratio is awesome, the sound is clear and the design is rugged. The only downside is that the mic itself is fairly large, and doesn't hide as well when clipped to the talent. 5

[Black] I have 5 of these. I have recommended them to other performers. I use them on my banjos. The are incredible, I use a tywrap and fix it to a tension hook on the outside of the banjo facing down into a sound hole. It has a great sound, I have used it for years, from a small pa, to onstage for a large audience. It always performs well. I have also used it for recording along with the front mic. With Banjo, when you move off axis it changes the tone, but with this, mic, you have no problem with that. The sound is always consistant. Well Done Shure. 5
