[0.23 lb] I'd ordered this QR plate to attach to a monopod, and it works well. But it soon had become apparent that I could not pan smoothly with the monopod and that I needed a video head. That's when it had become painfully apparent that the QR plate could not be attached to most heads, since it has to be screwed on from underneath, and most, if not all, mounting plates that are supplied with heads are screwed into place from above. It is now sitting in a shelf, unused.

Works great as I have way more adjustment room to balance my heavier rigs as the plate is much longer. Also this replaces a 504 plate from manfrotto.

[0.23 lb] These are great! - I have about 20 of them, and mount the base to all my tripods and monopods and rails and whatever else we need - and then just attach the plates to every camera we have and then no matter what we need, it's universal to everything else - fastest way to disconnect any rig to anything, and pops right back in!

[3.8 oz (108 g)] I'd ordered this plate for a Libec RH25D fluid head. Rather than attach a plate to a camera immediately prior to mounting on a head, I tend to leave them permanently attached to a camera for quick access, and I needed an extra plate, this plate is perfect.

[0.23 lb] I have purchased several of these adapters for use with various video heads that do not offer side mount capability. They are well made, all metal and, so far, have been reliable.
