Q: 1. The first time I used the Dracast 160, it suddenly shut down after about 7 minutes of use. It wouldn't power back up. I assumed it was the battery, and when I inserted a new one, it worked again. But the old battery tested at 100%. Anybody else encountered this?

Q: 2. The video states that this light takes either a Sony or a Panasonic battery,Is there two battery trays? I shoot with a Pani DVX200, I can't find any LED lights that use that style of battery, It's defiantly a disadvantage to have to carry two types of batterys.

A: This will only run directly off of the Sony-type NP-F batteries. However, it will also run off the D-tap cable from the larger brick style batteries (the ones that use the V-mount or Gold mounts), as long as it has the appropriate voltage. A: No, the knob does not have detents.

Q: 4. Can the WANPF770 be powered up by being plugged into the LED light using its power cord?Thanks.

A: Yes. They ARE coming back into stock, but we do not yet have an exact date for when more will be arriving. Q: 6. Just wondering if the Dracast LED 160 and/or 200 On Camera Lights have a Green Tint to them? I know back in the day they would give you a magenta filter to correct.

A: I haven't noticed any in person or on camera. Mine does have a couple cells that sometimes don't work though. Doesn't affect anything, but was still a bit of a bummer. Also, make sure to buy some batteries and a charger. If you wanna use it for a light stand, you'll have to buy that pivot elbow too. Besides that, I love it. Puts out solid light and is compact.

Q: 7. Does it come with a battery?

Q: 10. I am getting mixed messages. Some people say that this comes with a battery and others do not. It doesn't not include a battery in the in the box . Which is right?

[Rigid Plastic] I purchased four Q15 lights to create artistic head shots. The lights provide a soft glow. I've also used them as main, fill, and accent lights. I have also used them on film sets with no flickering issues. For the price, this is the bang for the buck. 5

[0.03 lb] I love this light! The color accuracy is amazing, its portable and feels built well. The only downside is if you want to be able to dim the light, you need a dimmer of some sort, I've been using an extension cable with a built-in dimmer switch, and that works great! 5

[Rigid Plastic] I actually bought 3 of these to use in music videos and interviews. In the box you get the light and the short power cable. You can use them anywhere creatively. Super bright, absolutely no flickering. Dimmable (dimmer sold separately). You'll also need clamps. These are tube lights, they don't have any mounts. 5

[0.03 lb] I bought this for a specific installation. The x-fade version (variable kelvin) is great, but only needed warm light. Build quality is, as always, first rate. Added an extension and a table-top dimmer and was ready to go. The ability to add just about any dimmer is great. The color fidelity is the biggest plus at this price, though. No green seen on subject and that's all we really need. 5
