A: No they don't. When the Metabones adapter is installed, it overrides whatever f-stop you might set on the lens. In other words the Metabones adapter takes complete control of aperture. The numbers on the adapter range from F (for full wide open, I guess) through 1-6 to 7 which is fully stopped down. One can guess that halfway through the range from F to 7 might correspond with a mid-range lens aperture of about f8 or so, depending on the aperture range of the lens one is working with.

Q: 2. I just received this adapter and don't see the click-conversion kit included as some info seems to indicate. It is definitively the new adapter style with the scale to 7, unlike the older one pictured here with the scale to 8. Should the conversion kit have been in the box? Thanks!

A: As long as it is a Nikon compatible mount lens, there should be no issue at all.

Q: 4. Will this adapter work with the nikon mount Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro and nikon mount sigma 10-20mm?

A: If they have a standard Nikon bayonet mount then they should work. I had no problem at all with any of my Nikon lenses. If you are using it with the Fuji X-T1 don't forget to go to settings (bottom of the third page)to deactivate the Auto exposure mode (it's in the manual, I forget the page) otherwise the camera will NOT allow you to take the shot.

Q: 5. Are there any known image issues with using this product to connect a Sony A7S with full-frame Nikon lenses? I'm especially concerned with image clarity and vignetting when using Nikon AF NIKKOR 20mm f/2.8D and Nikon Fisheye AF Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D Autofocus on A7S' full-frame non-crop mode.

A: At this time we have not had any reports referring to vignette with wide lenses, the adapter and camera combination.

Q: 6. Will this adapter retain exif LENS data? even just what lens is mounted? I know AF is out of the picture, but I don't see anything regarding exif data.

A: yes you get full EXIF info with this adapter, AF is slow.

A: The Nikon stabilization lens system does not work with the Metabones adapter. Everything regarding the lens is manual once attached to the adapter

A: This Metabones adapter is made for use with Nikon G type lenses, which lack an aperture ring. To use Nikon Ai-S lenses on a Fuji X -Mount, you would need the Metabones Nikon F Mount Lens to Fujifilm X-Mount Camera Lens Mount Adapter, B&H # MENFXBM1.

A: Yes, this should work. I'veused it with manual focus, autofocus screwdrive lenses and G lenses and they all work. You do need to make sure the aperture control on the adapter and your lens are in synch on non-G lenses.Don
