While I doubt it fits in the housing, if you are shallow diving without the housing then this advice from the Olympus website: Although the LG-1 can be left on the camera when underwater, it is not recommended as an underwater lighting accessory as the results would not be desirable. In my experience the LED system works pretty well in the dry world for bugs & flowers but not so much for shiny things. And the real bottom line and why I think Olympus advises against using it underwater is just a lack of power. They have recently introduced the FD-1 for the flash part and they actually recommend it for underwater macro work.
