How long something will last depends on many factors: light, atmosphere, moisture, the inks used, and how the item is stored or displayed. Epson (whose marketing doesn't use the A word) has a permanence rating chart on their web site. (B&H won't allow posting of URLs, but search those two words.) Pay special attention to the information about storage at the bottom of the page. Properly handled and conserved, your prints should last a very long time.
