The black PortaBrace MO-LH1710B Monitor Case for Panasonic (Black)from PortaBrace MO-LH1710B Monitor Case for Panasonic (Black)is made using 1000-denier Cordura material, and is designed to fit the Panasonic BT-LH1700W / LH1710W / LH1760W Field Monitors. A fold-out anti-glare visor improves screen visibility while using the monitor outdoors. A sturdy stand folds out to angle the monitor for optimal viewing. The stand and visor fold back into the case and the entire unit folds into a protective compact case.

The bottom of the case is lined with anti-skid, waterproof material to provide a solid protective base. The included suede leather HB-1040 Shoulder Strap can also be used around the neck to support the monitor while viewing.

Q: 1. could I use this as a carry on bag for a flight?

A: Airline carry on dimensions vary but American, Delta and United all share the same maximum size for your carry-on bag: 22 x 14 x 9 inches / 23 x 36 x 56 centimeters (including handles and wheels). We do not have the exterior dimensions of this bag but they are moot since the interior dimensions are too big to begin with: 25.0 x 16.5 x 10.5 / 63.5 x 41.9 x 26.7 cm. Here is one possibility, the Tenba Roadie HDSLR/Video Backpack (20 ) B&H # TE20HDSLRVBB. It is 13-14 x 20 x 9 (33-36 x 51 x 23 cm). This should be able to carry your main camera and it's lens. for instance, the Sony FS7 and lens should fit fine.

Q: 2. Can this bag hold a C300 II with the handle attached?

A: As the FS5 body and top handle fits with room to spare I would guess that the c300 would fit as well. Have used the c300 a fair amount I feel pretty confident with estimation. That said check the dimension in the specs and cross reference they with the c300 specs. Side note: This bag is extremely modular with a ton of removable Velcro dividers and attachments you can customize the bag to work with any mid-size cine camera.

Q: 3. Will this fit 3 Litepanels Astra 1000 1x1 panels, as it claims?

A: Yes this bag can accommodate 3 Litepanels Astra units.

Q: 4. can this be brought on as a carry on for traveling?

A: This has exterior dimensions of 21.00 x 13.25 x 13.00" . Carry on size tends to be 22 x 14 x 9 so this bag is just a bit too large in most cases.

Q: 5. Will this fit the BMD 4k 7 with batteries, and have adequate access to the SD slots and HDMI/SDI ports?

A: Yes it will. You will be able to have the standard LP-E6 batteries running the monitor when it is used with this rain cover. You will also have easy access to the batteries, SD card slot and ports.

Q: 6. Will a GT4553S with an attached Swarovski Professional Tripod Head fit this bag? Thanks

A: Yes, the TLQB-35 can accommodate the Gitzo GT4553S with the Swarovski Professional Tripod Head.

Q: 7. Will it fit a varicam lt?

A: No this will not fit the Varicam-LT

Q: 8. Will The SD 633 fit into this bag?

A: The Porta Brace MXC-442B is designed to accommodate the 442 mixer, unfortunately not compatible with the 633 which would require a larger bag.

Q: 9. Has anyone used this with the Sony F5 camera fully built? Not the FS5 but the larger F5. Thanks.

A: This case has interior dimensions of 17.00" L x 11.5" W x 11.25" H. It is possible it will work with your fully built camera rig, but you will need to measure the dimensions of that rig to see if hey correspond with the dimensions of this case.

Q: 10. Does this fit the PIx-E5 or the Pix-E7?

[Fold-out] So you drop $2K on a monitor you should get this case. Shoulder strap, and keeps the screen safe, built in sunshade-- a no brainer. Keeps the unit safe and smaller than a Pelican case. Keep an eye on the heat build up... but a great product for run and gun. 5

[4.7 lb (2.1 kg)] I purchased this case as my 'main' gear case for my panasonic GH4 and all it's accessories. I absolutely LOVE this case! It's super durable, has SOOO many pockets for storing gear, cables, lenses etc, and is so rugged and tough I bring it everywhere. It's big enough to fit all my lenses (4) and my Ikan Cinefly Rig (broken down of course) with room to spare. I've maxed it out and with it bogged down the weight isn't TOO bad, but I will say, I do wish they made the gripping handles a littttttle bit more tough, as I feel like with it maxed out weigh wise, the handles are gonna start dethreading and possibly tear off over time. Other than that, this case is literally perfect. I can tell this will serve me well for years to come. 5/5 - 10/10 - I will now ONLY buy PortaBrace gear and bags from now on.... 5

[Fold-out] MO-LH801W Monitor Case - for Panasonic BT-LH80W. It is great! I didn't have anything on my BT-LH80 for about 6 months but that's because we were all indoors studio configed. But when we took the BT-LH80 outside we found we had no way to grip the LCD. The strap is great as you can have a producer put it around their neck & they don't have to hardly hold it & it doesn't get dropped during the rigors of production as easliy. The Hood is wonderful as it has two purposes. 1). It's a hood that protects the monitor from the sun so you can view the image outdoors in bright environments. 2). The shade is made of a soft material that when folded to be stored, protects the LCD. THIS A MUST HAVE indoors or out ! 5

[Fold-out] I'm using this case with my Ikan VX7. And I love it. I had been using the monitor with out a case. Bad choice. The monitor actually looks better when its in the case. Probably a combination of better viewing angles and less light pollution. Its worth the money. And of course all the high quality you expect from the blue case guys. 5

[5.2 lb] Actually I’m using this bag with an S1H and it works great - I needed something bigger than a normal dslr camera bag and the big one I hauled around when I used my Varicam to carry all the extras that I needed - I didn’t want to breakdown/setup the S1H after every shot - so this bag gave me the opportunity to leave most of it together - It makes setup and take down easier than having to talk to a client for 20 minutes while I try and rig out my camera - leave it to portabrace - thanks - tim 5
