The LanParte Follow Focus V2 Hard Stops 15mm Rodsclamps onto 15mm LWS rods, allowing you to smoothly and accurately pull focus with cinema and DSLR lenses equipped with gear rings. Its quick release design that lets you easily snap it onto the rods without having to remove other rod-mounted accessories, such as a matte box. Integrated into the follow focus are A and B hard stops, letting you set start/end points on DSLR lenses that have continuously rotating focus rings. Additionally, the follow focus features an ARRI standard accessory port for using optional focus whips and speed cranks. Q: 2. Is it possible to unmount the FF from the 15mm rod adaptor and mount it on a 19mm Tilta rod adaptor?

A: We do not recommend it because It is not designed to do that. This doesn't mean that it is impossible to mount the follow focus to a 19mm rod adaptor but you would likely lose the ability to easily slide left and right to accommodate different diameter lenses. Not to mention it would void the warranty in the event something happened to your follow focus as a result of this modification.

Q: 3. Does this item come with a case?

A: By itself, the FF-T03 does not come with a hard case. However, when purchased in TT-03-GJ kit, it will indeed come with a hard carrying case.

Q: 4. How much does this unit weigh? The specs say 5lbs, but the package weight says 2.95lbs. I heard it was heavy but 5lbs seems a bit much.

A: I don't know exactly how much it weighs but its certainly not heavy. I highly recommend this follow focus. it's very precise. I am used to Arri and Chrosziel, This Tilta keeps up... and my assistants always comment on how nice it is.

Q: 5. Is this a good follow focus for the Tilta ES-T15 Rig used with the Sony FS 7?

A: I have used this follow focus with a Panasonic AF100?as well as a Panasonic GH4 and it works perfectly.

Q: 6. Can this system be used with a large lens like a Arri master anamorphic?

A: I haven't tried it, but a suspect it won't work with a lens like that. The sideways movement on this follow focus is not very extensive, so it may not work. If you are using a lens like that, I recommend you use either a wireless FF unit or an Arri studio follow focus like the FF4.

A: According to Tilta, you cannot reverse the follow focus rotation on the FF-T03.

A: to attach the follow focus you will have to mount the camera on a rig. At least on a camera support with a 15mm rod system. Ikan Tilta have nice rigs too. The follow focus will mount nicely to the rods. Included in the follow focus are some gear ribbons to mount around the lens focus ring. It works perfect. However you will have to make up your mind wether you really need all this setup, as everything gets a bit bigger, bulky and heavier.The Ikan Tilta follow focus is very well made, good quality and dos the job well.I use it with the Sony F3 and larger film cameras.All the best.
