Whether or not this works depends on the camera that you plan to use with this. attaching this to your camera cage will make the camera rig larger and therefore making it harder to balance (especially if you want to have clearance for tilt.) depending on the height and weight distribution of your camera you may need counterweights to help balance the gimbal.
