Designed to eliminate the extra step of finishing the screen with trim, the 220V 20859EFL Advantage Electrol 65 x 104" Ceiling-Recessed Motorized Screen from Da-Lite is designed with ceiling trim already in place. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets are included to make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

The Advantage Electrol screen features simple in-ceiling installation that can be done in two stages. The screen case can be installed during the rough-in construction stage, and the fabric assembly can be completed during the finishing stage.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are there two lights included with this unit. Are the lights 5600K?

A: Yes, the kit comes with two Impact One Monolights. They are strobe type lights and are daylight rated.Note the camera you use this with needs to have a sync port or you will need to get an adapter or wireless sync. And this is made for still photos not video.

Q: 2. does this come with a sync cord?

A: Yes the sync cord is included.

Q: 3. Are these lights tungsten or daylight ( 5500K). Can I use my Nikon on auto white or have to balance?

A: Strobe lights are typically daylight-balanced. You would either use the daylight-balanced or flash-balanced white balance preset on your camera, or you would use the Custom White Balance setting to set a custom white balance. Auto White Balance is not recommended for strobe usage.

Q: 4. 5600 k or tungsten?

A: This kit would contain monolights, which produces a color temperature of 5600K.

Q: 5. Are there also soft boxes included?(:

A: Comes with two soft boxes. I bought with two umbrellas as well, which I used shooting 141 head and shoulders photos on my first assignment. Everything but the synch cord worked perfectly.

Q: 6. what is the power source?

A: The lights include a 120VAC power cord which is a regular USA household plug.

Q: 7. two strobes, two soft boxes, two stands and one sync cord- Are they included in this kit?

A: This kit would include two Impact EX 100 monolights, two softboxes with speed rings, two sync cables, two power cords, flashtube/modeling lamp for each head, a reflector for each head, spare fuses for each head, Impact 8 ft light stands and a 1 year warranty on each head.

Q: 8. Hi, which exactly is the Mini to PC Synch Cord? Could you send me a link?I have a canon 650D and i'm not pretty sure if i can manage these lights from my camera.Thanks.

A: A mini to PC sync cord would allow a camera with a sync terminal to be connected to these lights. Please see the following link for an example of the cable: a href= http://bhpho.to/1qtaQvJ. target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1qtaQvJ./a As for use with the Canon 650D, you would need a hotshoe to PC sync adapter to use these monolights. Please see the link for the adapter: a href= http://bhpho.to/1jT4Cko target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1jT4Cko/a

Q: 9. Will this work on a Novatron 240?

A: If you mean would you be able to use this product along with the Novatron 240, probably. The Novatron system does not have built-in optical slaves, but the monolights with this kit do, so you should be able to fire the Novatron system with you camera and let the optical slaves on this monolight kit fire them. You have to manually adjust the power settings on these to achieve proper exposure and the lighting effect you want.

Q: 10. Can these lights be on for a full shoot, or are they flash/strobe only? Looking to purchase something inexpensive for filming purpose, and won't need the flash setting.

A: You could use the modeling lights for filming but it's probably cheaper to just by led modeling lights with more wattage. I think the modeling lights on this kit is about 60 watts. Modeling lights are used to see the lighting and to help your camera focus on the subject.

[HC Matte White] This Screen was easy to install. It took 3 people and 2 ladders to get the job done. The remote is really not needed but i opted to install it as well. The motor runs really smooth. The screen is nice and wide. A really good buy.

[16:10] We use the screen in our church sanctuary once or twice a month. Installing it was an adventure with the weight and length, but several sections of scaffolding and a couple friends made the install move along nicely. The instructions for wiring were right on and it worked first try! The image is right on and visible the entire length of our viewing area (over 100').

[1.1] We installed this in a rehabbed church space that's now a contemporary art gallery flush mounted it to an exposed beam and it looks and works great. That said, it's only been about a week, so maybe I'll report back later if I have any complaints! I was surprised that, for its length, there are only 2 mounting holes on either end, so I fear that it may sag over time. But again, too soon to tell. Where it does mount in those 2 places, it's on a solid plastic end cap/brace, so it seems like it will hold up well. It weighs about 85 pounds, so we had 3 people to install. We had to go about 17 feet up to the beam, we leveled, marked and pre-drilled & drove lag bolts into the beam and then used two extension ladders on either side to climb and carefully slide the projector up on the ladder's rails. Our 3rd person was on a 10ft ladder in the middle and was there as a spotter for extra support. It was then quite easy to hook it on to the lag bolts once we slid it to the top. All in all, it's an easy install, we opened the box and had the job done in less than 4 hours. Just be sure you have the wiring supplies and the proper mounting hardware and you'll have no problem!
