The Kowa Digidapter TSN-880 TSN-770 Spotting Scopesis a digiscoping adapter system that consists of three main components, a camera platform, an outer ring, and an inner ring. When combined, they allow a variety of camera types, including point and shoots, mirrorless, and DSLR cameras to effectively use a Kowa TSN-880 or TSN-770 series spotting scope as a telephoto lens.

Constructed from anodized, billet aluminum alloy for durability, the components of the Kowa Digidapter for TSN-880 and TSN-770 Series Spotting Scopes provide accurate, consistent alignment due to the ability to adjust the camera platform and outer ring according to a camera's dimensions so that the camera's lens is aimed precisely into the spotting scope's eyepiece. Both the camera platform and outer ring are securely connected to the eyepiece by a custom inner ring that is reversible so that the distance between the end of the eyepiece and your camera can be varied. This provides the ability to use not only smaller point and shoot as well as mirrorless cameras, but larger DSLRs, which even with relatively short lenses installed, require greater distance from the eyepiece for effective digiscoping.

Though preassembled and easy to install, the Kowa Digidapter for TSN-880 and TSN-770 Series Spotting Scopes saves time after the initial set up by allowing you to record your camera's position on the platform by means of included location pins. This feature allows for the camera to be removed from the platform for quick battery or memory card changes and then moved back into place without the need to reestablish focus.

Allows a Kowa TSN-880 or TSN-770 series spotting scope to be used as a telephoto lens by point and shoot, mirrorless, or DSLR cameras

Accurately and securely connects a camera with a maximum lens diameter of 2.590" and maximum length of 3.525" from the center of its tripod socket to the end of its lens. An optional table extender, MFR #TE, increases this length to 4.150"

Set up is easy and fast, with further time saved through the use of included location pins that allow your camera's position to be recorded on the camera platform. After a battery or memory card change, camera focus does not need to be reestablished

The outer ring can be rotated to alternate between portrait and landscape orientations

Anodized billet aluminum alloy construction provides durability and minimizes reflections from the surfaces of the adapter components into your camera

[0.82 lb] Great scope. Clear and sharp to the edges. Lightweight and compact. Some say the body feels cheap as it is a polycarbonate body but this is what makes it lightweight. Flourite glass is amazing! Price is right - much cheaper than Zeiss, Leica or Swaro but performance is on par or better. 15-45x 55mm objective is perfect combination....had a 60x Swaro never used 60x unless conditions were perfect as clarity suffered: And, given the weight, quality of glass, price and how often I went above 50x, Kowa is perfect. 5

[0.82 lb] This bracket is awesome. Fully compatible with ARCA Swiss mounts. I use it to solidly mount my Sony NEX 5R with 35 mm f/1.8 lens via the Swarovski DCA adapter to the Swarovski 25-50 mm ocular. Nothing wobbles anymore and I can also get the balance on the tripod exactly right. Higly recommended! 5

[0.82 lb] Very precisely machined adapter giving a tight fit with 1.25 eyepieces. Used with Kowa TP556, 500mm f/5.6 FL Telephoto Lens/Scope fitted with TP-88EC Prism Unit. I get sharp view at 183X with 3mm Radian eyepiece. Starts vignetting slightly with 20mm 68degree EP. 5

[0.82 lb] Easy to install and offers a wide range of zoom. My only con is that the knobs that you tighten to keep the rotation steady are a pain. Also, the light could be better at high zoom. Not sure if it is thie eyepiece or the 88- Kowa that I have it attached to. 5

[0.82 lb] This stope is very sharp, small and light weight. We will use it to view wolves and bears in Yellowstone as well as the birds near our home. It is easy to use and the cover protects it nicely. Highly recommended. 5

[0.82 lb] Great light weight scope. Absolutely competes with all the bigger,heavier more expensive spotters. If you are hiking, hunting etc... this is the scope 100%. It is much brighter , clearer and sharper than the size would indicate. If shooting from one spot only and no need for mobility then the bigger scopes do have a slight advantage. This scope clearly shows animals details/rack size points etc... out past 1500 yards easily. At this price point I expected excellence. It has exceeded those expectations. Wonderful optics !!! 5

[0.82 lb] This is the best Spotting scope I have owned! It is replacing one that cost almost double last year. The Kowa is crystal clear to the edge and is great in low light conditions. I went with a straight 30x eye piece and couldn't be happier. I use the spotting scope on back country hunts because it is light weight and an unbelievable piece of glass. I will be adding more Kowa to my list of fine optics. 5

[0.82 lb] I have the sibling, angled version, of the TSN-664M and decided that for certain applications, this straight viewing model was something I needed to have. It seems at this time the TSN-664M and 663M are being phased out for a new model. I am hopeful this line won't go the way of the Dodo. I think Kowa is a premier spotting scope manufacturer, and this model is a great way to get into a premium spotting scope. My preference is the 30x wide-angle eyepiece. It is super comfortable for long-term viewing especially if you wear glasses. You can't go wrong with the Kowa Prominar line. 5

[0.82 lb] I did a lot of research on what exactly I wanted in a spotting scope. I was looking for something ultralight, compact and not sacrificing glass quality. This was half the price of a Swarovski and is very comparable quality in its performance. I’ll always have this in my pack, B&H had the best pricing of anywhere that sells this spotting scope. Can’t go wrong with this spotter if you’re looking for something lightweight, compact, and top tier quality. 5
