Flexible, portable, and with a 44.1 b load capacity, the Cartoni K103 3-Section Jibo Fluid Jibis suitable for interior and exterior jib moves. Its compact size and load capacity make it ideal for capturing cinematic jib moves with a variety of cameras ranging from action to cinema cameras. It has a front telescopic arm that extends its reach up to 19.7" for when you are in a tight space but want to get just a bit closer without moving your base, which is handy when working around furniture.

The jib's base mounts onto tripods with a 100mm bowl fitting (tripod not included), and it features fluid drag modules for both pan and tilt. Much like with a fluid head, these modules can help make slow movements smooth, and the modules can be engaged or disengaged as needed. A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is Italy. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.

Q: 4. Does this tripod have a level of any kind? If not, is there an accessory I can buy to level the tripod?

A: It does not have a level. Its a decent tripod for video and stills IF you avoid using the center column and heavy tele lenses.

Q: 5. is this tripod head and body compatible with the rhino evo carbon slider?

A: I personally feel that while you could mount a slider on this tripod, you will find better stability by placing the slider on a table or a hard service. If a stolid service is unavailable long sliders can work on two tripods. I would never try a long slider on a single tripod. Now, that said, the weight of the camera, whether it is a DSLR or a prosumer camcorder, should determine the combined functionality of the slider.

Q: 6. I have a Caon G30 CC that I want to mount to this tripod. The CC has a 1/4 screw mount and this tripod has a 3/8 screw. Is there a add on to fix this problem?

A: The 3/8 screw is what is used to connect the head to the tripod. The tripod has a quick release plate with a 1/4 screw that use to connect the camera to the head.

Q: 7. Not being an expert on tripods, could this one also be used as a regular fixed tripod for taking photos?

A: There is nothing to stop you from taking photos while using this head, however the camera will only align in a landscape position. To turn the camera in to portrait you will need an L-Bracket such as the Manfrotto Q2 L Bracket. https://bhpho.to/3kOx64f

Q: 8. will this work with ther Manfrotto 577 plate?

A: The Cartoni Focus 8 is designed to work with standard Manfrotto (501PL / 504PL) plates. The plate that is included with the Manfrotto 577 quick release is a 501PL plate and should work well on this tripod.

Q: 9. Does this tripod have the RC2 rapid connect adapter and is it compatible with the Magpul M-Lok Tripod Adapter?

A: This fluid head features the MA200PL plate which is the same plate on their RC2 rapid connect adapter (BH#:MA323). According to Magpul, their M-Lok adapter is compatible with all of Manfrotto's RC2/Q2 interfaces so this tripod should work just fine with that adapter.

Q: 10. Hello, by mistake break the Assembly Sleeve of this model, which is the spare part that I must buy?

A: Hi, Gustavo I have a pleasure to answer your question. Well I think you can just buy another sleeve for thus model and your tripod will work normally. Or for safety you can buy an other head with the sleeve and you will have extra assembly just in case if you lost something else. Hope my answer will satisfy your choice to do.

[59.5 lb] Cartoni makes some of the best heads out there. This new head is of good quality and doesn't break the bank.

[44.1 lb / 20 kg] I could not ask for a better tripod for the FX6 cameras I own. The Focus 12 red lock is built incredibly well and is light and very stable. I have zero complaints about its operability and build quality. Highly recommended for professional use. You cannot go wrong with this tripod and a bonus it's half the price of the Sachtler competitor.

[33.1 lb / 15 kg] Pan and tilts are butter-smooth. After properly balancing my camera, I do not feel any backlash at the end of a swipe. The continuous counterbalance system is amazing, which led me to choose Cartoni over the equivalent Sachtler or Miller. Frankly speaking, without continuous counterbalancing, perfect balancing is not achievable by any means. This fluid head is doing that effortlessly, even with the uncooperatively lightweight Black Magic Pocket. The only slight qualm i have is about the bubble level, which is located in a cavern where parallax error in reading is inevitable. On top of that, it gives me a feeling that its calibration is slightly off. But if you are married, this should not bother you at all!

[33.1 lb / 15 kg] If you want to spend 2x the cash then you can do a comparison with another brand. However, nothing comes close at this price point.

Cartoni's continuous counterbalance means you can dial in counterbalance exactly where you need it - no stepping past the sweet point.

The sticks have a super slick ring that lets you pick up the system with one hand and still close the legs enough to get through doors.

[Aluminum] I had an older Cartoni that had been reliable for years. When that head broke beyond repair, this was an easy choice for replacement. Super smooth movement, and incredibly stable with my heaviest rigs, this is exactly the upgrade I was looking for.

[Aluminum] Best jib i have ever used. We beat this thing up and its built like a tank. Takes literally 3 min to assemble - maybe less.

[59.5 lb] I use to work with the Focus 101 and this is a slight upgrade to that. Very solid. I needed the ability to use with larger cameras when need so this is a great 100mm option

[59.5 lb] Absolutely love the Cartoni Focus 12. It's light enough to carry for long distances, but strong enough to hold a fully built Red or C500. Highly reccomend!
